I couldn't get tickets. I've seen them before though so I can console myself with that.

I never put together your chosen club and your user name before!

Jesus Nick! What did you think it was just a random button bash of numbers followed by a random confectionery good?

It was supposed to be subtle though - i joined originally on the wum.

I know! I feel a little bit retarded for not having twigged before, it's possibly because you don't discuss the game that much. Yea I'll go with that.

Oh and many thanks to you for starting the thread as I wouldnt have even known about it otherwise

If i was you, i'd be downing several litres of beer today in celebration.

Hope you enjoy the gig though. Go fecking nuts for me please.

Right... this is fecking weird. I just recieved an email confirming that i've got 2 tickets for the gig.

Now, when trying to register for the tickets earlier, i was also looking on the RATM facebook page and put my ref no on there. All i can think is someone filled it in, but i haven't got a fecking clue!

I don't want to believe it, because i know when i find out its not real i will cry.

Just accessed the link provided in the email, for checking the status of the tickets, and after being prompted to fill in my reference number and email/postcode i was given this screen:

Can someone who got tickets please confirm some sort of odd miracle has taken place here.

That is basically exactly what I got so maybe you are in luck!
Did you actually get to the page where you typed in your reg number at any point? Maybe it went through but you just didnt get the confirmation page

Nope. At no point did I get past the 'you're in a queue, refreshing every 20seconds page'.

This is odd.

oyeah, is the reference number you were given after buying the tickets, different to the one you had when you were ordering them?

My first one was 7 digits and the new one is 8.

Yes they are different - looks like the Rage God's have taken pity on you - might see you there !

What the hell, I thought RATM was long gone and now they're playing practically right outside my doorstep. I would actually have considered going if I'd got my hands on a free ticket.

EDIT: No I wouldn't, Xiu Xiu is playing here the same date. I win.

Im here to gloat as I just received my FREE tickets for this gig :D

------------------------JUST ANNOUNCED-----------------------------
The Rage Factor guests have now been confirmed, providing a varied and exciting line up for the day's celebration. Opening acts are the brilliant punk band GALLOWS, followed by London rap artist ROOTS MANUVA and radical rebel rockers GOGOL BORDELLO.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Never heard of Gallows and only vaguely know Gogol Bordello but I am a massive fan of Roots Manuva so great to see him on the bill.

I still haven't got mine. I was wondering though, do you need to take a proof of identity such as a passport or anything?

In regards to the support acts; gallows are usually pretty decent live, but i'm not a massive fan. I've never heard of Roots Manuva so no idea and i've heard of Gogol Bordello, but don't know any of there stuff. Not fussed really though, as I'll probably be busy getting drunk waiting for the main act.

You photo is imprinted on the ticket so I assume bringing your face along will do!

Roots Manuva is outstanding - the best UK hiphop artist ever as far as I am concerned - this is his most famous track:
