They don’t want to hear it. People want to believe that we’re signing Diallo, SMS, de Ligt, Maguire, Maddison, Eriksen etc etc for ~500million without remembering that the last time we played that game in the transfer window we failed abysmally that season
They hear what they want to hear. They don’t want to hear unexciting things like we are trying to work as a team to make things better because the 25 or so -human beings- we have are already great footballers and we can work on them.
