Reddit ITKs

That Cooper guy mustn’t haven’t much going on in his life to go to all of that effort. I got tired reading it half way through it never mind actually making up emails to verify his source.

How is he ruthless enough ? He’s got rid of nobody?

He got rid of Fellaini and insured Valencia didn’t get an extension.

He’s not the one who actually sells players - it certainly sounds like he’s told the club which players need to go, and it’s down to the club to sell them.

On the flip side of that he is also the one to say which players to keep ala Young, Jones, Mata. Works both ways. No one knows who is in charge.

Valencia hasn’t played all season, even David Moyes wouldn’t have given him a contract. You can’t bring up Valencia without mentioning new contracts given to Young and Jones.

The statement was that he’d not got rid of anyone - I don’t feel the need to also star who he has kept...

Don’t necessarily agree with Moyes - any idiot can see Valencia needed to go, but then Moyes was a very special idiot!

Agreed. And the problem with selling is you need to have a buyer willing to pay your price.

Re jones, smalling etc. I would assume we are stuck with them until we have more options. At least with a contract they may have some value when we decide we can live without them. Probably next year.

Same principle likely applies to mata. Once we have more options he will likely be gone to... at a price instead of free

Well you can considering their extensions were agreed with the club before Ole got the job. The only extension you can pin on Ole is the one for Mata and I don't think that was bad business.

What happened to de Ligt's flight from Amsterdam to London and then the car up to Manchester? (That was all "confirmed" right?) Utd's uber rating will be plummeting!

No that was some ultra salty guy who got banned earlier and who fabricated the whole thing in a very elaborate way just to get back at the mods. It was sad and funny at the same time.

You got a ban for saying Smalling was the best defender in the PL?

2019. The year diarm finally had something to vote for in the Best Banning award.

No, the other way around - a load of people in the 'caf thought he was the best defender in the PL, which was laughably untrue. Here's the thread. I disagreed a little too vehemently.

Not sure how the Reddit ITKs are still going. It's so proven that Spoofex is talking out of his gowl now that I don't understand why they haven't turned on him.

No they weren’t , they were agreed when he was manager , whether he had a choice over it is the question I guess

Jones signed his extension on Feb 8th, Young on Feb 11th. Ole got the full time job on Mar 28th so I can pretty much guarantee he had no choice in the matter.

We found out Ole got the job on that date.
Who is to know if he'd long been told he had it? Or whether they ran it past him about these two.

I agree. Pretty sure those decisions were taken by our ‘acting DoF’, not our ‘acting Manager’.

It’s been a very quiet few days, isn’t it any ”news” from our reddit ITK’s either?
The signing of de Ligt can’t be far away now.

Got more chance of signing for Love Island than anything they have to say.

Have to say that plane is a bit late though ......

If you see the two you’ve mentioned as part of a strategy then Smalling got his before Ole joined. Jones and Young subsequently followed on from that.

If you don’t, that’s very early into Ole’s tenure to have had such an influence on those decisions. Unnecessarily early.

Finally, it’s very early into Ole’s tenure for him to have been told he had the job. If he had been why would it not have been revealed until it eventually was?

You don’t know just like we don’t know at what point did the board say make Ole permanent.

Spoofex has been found out and I think they’re all in shock since CooperGate.

Not true. Luckhurst reported at this time Ole wanted Young to extend because he liked his old school leadership in dressing room.

https://www.manchestereveningnews.c...l-news/man-utd-ashley-young-contract-15812719

The MEN previously reported Solskjaer was keen to retain Young since he valued his old school leadership and how he handles the dressing room. Young has also ousted Antonio Valencia as United’s first-choice right-back, having played ahead of Luke Shaw for the majority of last season at left-back.

Can't just get rid of 10 players, unrealistic to replace of all in one transfer window. Some of these lads can play a part in a season and are more then able to. Starters no but back ups, yeah.

I wonder what these itk tools are conducting in response to de ligt to Juventus..... probably something along the lines of we had a verbal agreement and Juventus swooped in at last minute

Well that's literally the only thing they can say, right. I am kind of sad we do not get an exceptional CB to help with the team but well.

Had a quick look at their muppet thread today, looks at least a few of them should be put on suicide watch.

Updated GOSSIP

nothing major I’m afraid or at least nothing new to report on what’s previously been talked about. Just a couple of little bits of interesting titbits. After this there’s a possibility that there may not be anymore gossip updates as my source goes on vacation from start July until near end July. Most likely business will be concluded by that point.

Bad atmosphere around club currently, even within the support staff offices.

No updated news on the “big” ones but feeling is that DeLigt is still OT bound.

Some ‘out there’ gossip.

United currently looking at options from Chinese market, specifically players who have played In Europe before but remain a good age. Oscar has been identified as someone who could still make an impact in European football. United think a deal could be done for around £20m

2 players have been invited to train with the club (not trial). They are Gary Cahill and Ravel Morrison. Training only.

Someone who looks remarkably like Jordi Cryuff has been seen in and around carrington. Staff speculating if he’s coming back to work in a coaching role?
