Randomly remembered utopia and how the feck did it not get a single vote in round one
Forgettable show.

You're British right? Not having seen only fools is banworthy.
Not British.
I have seen Peep Show though. Surely that's the peak of British sitcoms? It can't get much better than that!
The episode where they tried to convince the airport security that Rodney is 12 years old is unbeatable
I'll let you off then. Not British.

Stranger Things is a worldwide phenomenon though and only really beaten by Game of Thrones in that regard for modern shows. Saying that, I actually completely forgot about it for my top 15I completely agree with this. I think both Ozark and Stranger Things would have been much bigger on a weekly release schedule. It's amazing how the latter got as big as it did and to think how much bigger it could have gotten is nuts.
Did you know that Band of Brothers have small cameos from when they were at the start of their careers. Seems strange to see such a young Tom Hardy, Simon Pegg looks about 15.
Tom Hardy
Michael Fassbender
James McAvoy
Simon Pegg
Jimmy Fallon
Andrew Scott
Dominic Cooper
Yeah I remember on my second watch finding it a bit jarring that Jimmy Fallon pulled up in a jeep
Group 3:
Deadwood
Group 4:
True Detective
Seinfeld
Ozark
Band Of Brother
Is it really that good? It mainly piggybacked on the success of saving private Ryan but on a lower scale. The most memorable element for me was the veterans describing what it was like to live through. Without that I don't think I would've bawled like a baby. The production values are premier league of course but I think it's legendary status is more down to the nature of the story they're telling. I also think breaking bad is a tad overrated though so what dafuq do I know.Have you seen Band of Brothers and if so why is it fourth.
Each to their own but I can’t think of a better series of tv. The episodes with the winter battles and the extermination camp are astonishing. It also does such a great job at genuinely making you care for all of these people. Dick Winters in particular is an amazing character (and human!).Is it really that good? Unlike the gaming and movie editions of this, I think TV shows will be a lot more predictable overall. I think there's a correlation between 'favourite' and 'best' with TV shows... most people enjoy the great ones. Whereas with movies and gaming, it's a lot more subjective/varied.Mad men and band of brothers predictably running away with it this round anyway
I do not think it piggybacked off of SPR's success aside from the enormous level of funding and talent it was able to attract. Is it really that good?
