It's really disheartening that I'm the only person that's picked Spartacus... Feels like the Gods have spread cheek and rammed cock :(

I guess you have to look at it as a whole.

GOT final seasons were pony but it was good for so long and when it was good, it was truly amazing. Overall, I still have fond memories.

Dexter was brilliant at the start but then turned shit for ages and the last season was really difficult to get through. Overall, not fond memories.

The first 4 seasons of Dexter and GoT are arguably my favourite of any shows ever, so they had to go on the list for those fond memories.

GoT was a disappointing ending but nowhere near as bad as Dexter.

Dexter: New Blood had an even worse ending too! I knew that I shouldn’t have watched it.

Sopranos
Line of Duty
The Shield
Breaking Bad
Southland
Twin Peaks
Terriers
Band of Brothers
Fargo
Lonesome Dove

Peep Show
Community
Curb Your Enthusiasm
Arrested Development
Eglimata (obscure greek black comedy, but genius writing)

I think that the showrunner changes at the end of season 4 for Dexter was the most obvious thing ever.

Didn't even know there was another season
Your not alone;). Amazing show!
I remember it so well. It's not objectively the best of course but this is about favourite shows and it's one of my favourites. Thought the way they handled the death of the lead actor was great, made me shead a tear

Yeah, that and I think it was always going to be hard to follow up on season 4 because of how good it was. I actually enjoyed season 5 and 7 but I know a lot of people didn’t.

I think they just ran out of ideas in the end. The show should’ve ended sooner, but money talks.

The showrunner came back for New Blood though. I enjoyed that until the last episode. How anyone involved read the script for that last episode and thought it was a good idea is beyond belief. I won’t get started on that though as I don’t want to derail the thread

The Wire
Battlestar Galactica
Game of Thrones
Arrested Development
Band of Brothers
Chernobyl
Scrubs
Prison break (this show had only 1 season)
Monthy Pyton's flying circus

Gannicus death still hurts in the show. My favourite character. He's the best fighter there I think and he's being swarmed in by the soldiers. He'd kill everyone of them 1v1 but damn he's so helpless in that moment. Yeah they handled his death well on Spartacus. Crixus was a beast too. So many amazing characters in that show.
