Lisandro Martinez. I love him. Can't remember seeing a more consistent player. Guy doesn't drop performances below 7.
Then Rashford and Varane.
Then Rashford and Varane.
Out of your team I’d take Luke Shaw first, we need a left back and throughout his career with the ups and downs, I’ve always thought he was a class player.
He suffered after his leg break and was treated appallingly by Mou but I’ve always liked him.
I don't really have a 'favourite' player, but a player I like to see is Garnacho. I always feel that something will happen when he's on the ball. Sometimes that will be an incredible skill which results in a goal chance, or he falls over the ball, or runs the ball out of play, but he's an exciting talent who will only improve in time.
It will be interesting who will become United's player of the season? For me it will be between Casemiro and Martinez, with a shout out for Shaw and Rashford. I don't think anyone else would be in the frame.
Casemiro. The No.6 was the position we were crying out for, and he's nailed it. Such a joy to watch
Oh I never expected De Gea or Dalot to get a lot of votes.
The top 3 was kind of predictable. I'm surprised that Shaw is more popular than Bruno, though.
I voted Martinez, he’s pure quality. The best ball playing CB I’ve seen at united and an absolute beast whilst also being an excellent defender.Surprised to see @Jeppers7 voting for B.Fernandes

When you’ve got players of the calibre and consistency of Casemiro, Varane and Rashford this season, then Martinez is doing exceptionally.
The weird thing with Bruno, is that I genuinely assess him like the others on my list, that he’s gone from being one of my three favourite players in the lockdown season to around a kind of middle of the road player is due to his performances the last two years and that he drops horrendous performances 1 in 3 games and has produced very few exceptional performances in the last 2 years (pro-rata) in my opinion. He’s still a good player but he’s been nowhere near the level of the above mentioned players, but has still been miles better than he was last season.
Why is this weird? Because when I look at his performance thread my ratings generally match up to the consensus game to game. There are posters who regardless of performances, not due to performances, would slate players for giving the ball away 3/4 times in a game….literally….where the common consensus was that the player had a great game. That would absolutely castigate a player for getting tackled anywhere on the pitch, when it led to a chance for the opposition and lynch them if it led to a goal…only to genuinely state that ‘anyone can make a mistake’ when Bruno does, and make no mistake in the last two seasons he’s made many leading to goals.
Have you ever @‘d the likes on NouCamp99, Pogue, AliDia and others, who’s opinion wasn’t performance based?
This forum can be like a bunch of playground bullies, literally people trying to force anyone who disagrees with general regard in terms of Caf favourites or who Caf hates are getting tagged into posts or having threads made about them. Yes I favour performances rather than narrative. Actual productivity over expected something.
What a weird tag, why would anyone really vote for a player who has, at best, been our 7th best performer this season (DeGea, Shaw, Varane, Martinez, Casemiro, Rashford) and has middle of the road stats?
What does Bruno need to do to go higher up in my estimation? Just play better. Consistently. Nothing more. This time last year I was starting to think Rashford was maybe finished at United. His performances were terrible, he went from a player I loved to one that I thought was genuinely taking the piss with the way he was playing….now he’s gone back to being the last player I’d want to see us sell, due to a combination of him coming through the ranks, what he’s done off the pitch and most importantly what he’s doing on it.
How dare anyone go against the accepted narrative on here, we have ways of dealing with them (mods included) Strange place really !
Got my vote as well.Got to be Martinez, like Roy Keane said he takes real pride in his defending. He goes out there determined that nobody will beat him.
Feels like Vidic in that we've found a warrior out of nowhere.
