Action-packed game. Newcastle 2-0 up at HT. Gerrard header sets up a grand stand finish. Dubious 87th min penalty blazed over by Maxi. Newcastle hold out. Krul was fantastic, made one save from a Kuyt header in particular.
EDIT: No wait...ASTAR's controller stopped working hence missing the penalty. I have offered to play the match again waiting for a reply...

Isn't giving everyone a 3-0 win just the same as ignoring him completely? Probably best to just remove him and all fixtures/results.
Agreed. You should only start awarding results if they've played 50% or more of their fixtures.

I'm not going to be letting anyone be replaced after Selbourne. We will carry on from now. I'll change poisson's fixtures when I get selbourne's gametag.

Very tight first half, Sunderland put one of the very few chances away to lead at the break.
They then upped the tempo for much of the second half with Sessegnon hitting the post with an open net from 3 yards out.
Newcastle could have salvaged something from the game on the counter late on but Ba and Cisse fluffed their lines in front of goal.
Victory was sealed via some sloppy defending from a corner by Newcastle.
