I like the idea, but I'm now on a second warning if you go by the rules, which I feel is unfair as I've genuinely been trying to get my games in and been available online 4-5 from the last 7 days.

Realistically the way we're going I think another 2-3 week and people will be on their 3rd warnings and it'll just ruin the league will less people. Perhaps we could scrap the system but then people will still take the mick.I did think maybe we should just wait for the fixture to be complete until starting a new week but then it isn't fair on the people who have played.

I've had all sorts of messages from frustrated fifa kids. I was winning once and because it was a high scoring game I didn't want to lose so I basically kept the ball Barca style in my half for 20 mins. It proper wound him up.

Then scores a header from a free kick in the 90th, which never should have been a free kick.

Perhaps slow people's fixtures down? If someone has 5 not played, don't give them one next week. This might piss on your spreadsheet, I don't know, but might be worth thinking about. If they can make some sort of promise that they can make a few up, perhaps they can request it.
Likewise, if someone has gone really far ahead on games played, perhaps slow them to one a week.
Keeping the games as even as possible would be best, but if someone is 10 games behind its just going to become impossible.

I honestly thought we'd be completing all fixtures within the first few days but it's not going too well. We've still got 5 games or so remaining from the last 2 week's. If I give out warnings we'll probably lose a few people which isn't good for the league. I was thinking to not allow any more fixtures to be handed until everyone has completed 8-10 games. Was also thinking to award people automatic wins if the other person doesn't complete their fixture.
But then you got the problems of people like Carlsen, getting banned (maybe?) and having already played some games, then not able to finish the league.
What do you do then? Give his future opponents 3-0 wins? What about the people who have already played him and lost or drawn?
After this game week, we should just get all the games caught up and then, once we're all at the same amount of games played, continue with the next set of fixtures to a stricter schedule.

So now Carlsen hasn't been playing for the last couple of week's instead removing him, just give his opponents automatic wins and remind him that he needs to keep up with his games otherwise he'll continue to forfeit them.

Surely the player has to have played 50%+ of their games before you start awarding the win? He's barely played so all you're doing is penalising those very few who have played him and not taken 3 points. Its basically a freebie for everyone else.
