Redcafe Snooker

Anyone able to work out which side of the draw I'm likely to see if I have tickets for the 2.30pm QF next Wednesday?

The QF all kick off the day before, so it's hard to work it out.

First time at the Crucible for me.

You'll love it!

I used to go every year with a few mates from work but it's too expensive now so just take some time off work to watch on the telly in the pub, works out cheaper!

Next Wednesday 2.30pm is Lei / Zhao vs. Wakelin / Allen on one table.

The other match in that session is a lot more difficult to work out as fewer matches have been played in that section of the draw.

But it will be Brecel / Day / Ding / Surety vs. Murphy / Wells / Trump / Zhou.

Great stuff thanks for that mate

Edit: steals the second frame 1-1

Ronnie couldn't have asked for a better comeback match

Carter is struggling badly

I had a friend who went to a charity do once and a few sports people were there including Shaun Murphy (him being the only snooker player).

He mentioned a really bizarre interaction where there was a group of people talking and one of the guys said isn’t it amazing how much good we can do this with this charity work, it’s really great to be here with all you wonderful people. And then Shaun casually replied that it was also great that they could meet a world class snooker player. There was a bit of a silence and then some awkward chuckling, and then Shaun says alright guys, I gotta go empty my bladder in the lavatory. And wandered off. Nobody ever saw him again that night.

Just caught up on Ronnie, no other player can steamroll like that.

It’s clear as day he’s struggling with his mental health following his breakup with his other half.

Ronnie’s still the best, I heard John Parrot say today that for Ronnie snooker is like getting on a bicycle. Ronnie makes the unbelievably difficult look unbelievably easy. Messi, Tiger, Jordan, Federer, Moses Itauma… Ronnie should be up there too with the greats.

Yes I agree with both your points.
He is just the most naturally talented player in my lifetime.
And were he to have had the same level of mental toughness, no one but no one would have a chance.

Nevertheless, he is definitely the greatest of all time for me and I hope he can win this tournament.

Just watching Judd Trump (he should change his surname). He is playing brilliantly. Three century breaks in a row.

Like a war of attrition watching Selby ….3 1/2 hours to play 6 frames

Trust it to be Selby to be pushing midnight when I need some action to watch late night. Mr Reliable.

How you get tickets?

You can’t lose a frame from that position.
