Julian Weigl.
He's class, I didn't think to mention him as it feels like he's already made it, he plays like he's been at the top level for 10 years.
Julian Weigl.
CheatingNot heard of Ante Coric or the Arsenal kids. Fair play for actually going for complete wild cards.
Seung Woo Lee
Amadou Diawara
Ronael Pierre Gabriel
Rafik Zehnini
That will be my 4 wildcards.
He has and will continue having his ups and downs as every youngster. But his level and consistency until December have been stunning. He's another brilliant example that when it comes to transfers, age and name of a player, the club he comes from, the fee paid for him are totally irrelevant. All that matters are talent, work ethics and an environment in which the player can fit in.He's class, I didn't think to mention him as it feels like he's already made it, he plays like he's been at the top level for 10 years.
It reminds me of this Daily Mail prediction from 2007 of the future England team:
Never heard of Chuks Aneke.
Neck on the line:
Grato Dos Canto
Jack Barmby
Rondo Nakazi
Massachi Testo
Jordan Hansen
Christoff Isaacson
Didier Alegue
Marco Esperanta
I would chop my own cock off if at least a few of these didn't become world beaters.
Neymar, Smalling - Raees
JDavid De Gea- phelans shorts
Juan Manuel Iturbe, James Rodríguez - Arruda
David De Gea Thomas Müller, Paul Pogba, Alexis Sanchez, Chris Smalling,Javier Hernandez,Manuel Neuer - Irish Legend
Toni Kroos (future best midfielder on planet) - Red Indian Chief Torn Rubber
Ozil to be next Zidane - Boss
Irish Legend wins, cant find his username so @RooneyLegend wins
Most, if not all, of those players were pretty established (for youngsters, anyway) back when this thread was started.
Exactly, it's like making a list now and putting players like Marquinhos or Laporte in it.
This list
Genuinely haven't heard of any of these players apart from Barmby.
Convinced he has made up some of the names.
Thierry Quassont also. Not a neck on the line one though, that.
Not including Sergi Samper, who's got minutes already, none of Barca B or their U19's will come close to being even squad players for them.
Oops, forgot about Alena and I thought they had to sell Lee? Wasn't he the cause of their ban?Huh?Carles Alena and Lee?

Generally though, I've not been impressed with their youth players in the same way I was with Bojan, Deulofeu, Traore. I didn't particularly rate Grimaldo either, who was supposedly one of the best players from that bunch.

Personally it's what I've done, named some relatively established players currently which I believe will become long term successes.Exactly, it's like making a list now and putting players like Marquinhos or Laporte in it.

Honestly, I don't watch enough football from everywhere or play Football Manager or whatever to know even 10% of some of the names being listed here. I don't have time to watch the UEFA Youth League (which I guess is a good way of finding out more about those players, fair fecks to those who do.
But let me play RedSky dammit.
Grimaldo was sold to Benfica even.Grimaldo is still only 20 but I think the ship has sailed for him.Not much talent in their current B team.Kaptoum and the defensive duo Tarin-Quintilla maybe but I always find it hard to say about La Masia defenders. Some very good talents in their U19s side though. The likes of Lee,Alena and Mboula.

How do you get the time to watch so much football, serious question?
I mainly watch replays or highlights in free time.
Huh?Carles Alena and Lee?
Yeah, no point bumping a thread from 2011.Time for a new thread?
Isn't he 25?Aaron Mooy.
Time for a new thread?
So my Emre Mor prediction doesn't count now?Yes with some actual proper rules. 20 years old or less, rules out players that are already established stars like Martial/Rashford. Make it an actual proper scouting "I told you so" thread (rather than just listing players who are already established stars).

Thinking 20 years or less yes and not made any more than 50 first team appearances to rule out obvious ones like Martial and Sanches.Yes with some actual proper rules. 20 years old or less, rules out players that are already established stars like Martial/Rashford. Noone here knew about him in March i'll tell you that much. Apart from some danish of course. He's not played for Dortmund yet has he? I think thats fair game, he's not established.

There should be weight on certain leagues though, it's much easier to get 30 first team appearances in the Danish Premier League than the English Premier League for example. Maybe 30 for the top 5/6 leagues and 50 for the rest?50 would be almost 2 seasons. Perhaps 30?
Doesn't seem to have the right mentality.Paul Pogba.
