I wanted Astle and I almost took Hafeez myself but Geoff Marsh for me was one of the symbols of that Aussie team that didn't give a fecking inch. That team laid the foundations for their all-conquering runs later.

Also fits in well with the vibe of my team - bunch of tough uncomplaining bastards.

Used up my Aussie quota in getting him though and sacrificed a little average.

Very nice bowling attack...Steyn and Younis are devastating. Harmison and Ajmal are good support. Don't rate your top order though - Atapattu, Ganguly and Sarwan don't really cut it for me.

Very nice bowling attack...Steyn and Younis are devastating. Harmison and Ajmal are good support. Don't rate your top order though - Atapattu, Ganguly and Sarwan don't really cut it for me.

I like ganguly as a player so was always going to pick him. Agree with the rest though. Thought fleming was taken but it turned out to be bloody damien fleming.
