The map is pretty disappointing. It doesn't look that much bigger.
That overlay of the first map is just the two sections in the bottom left hand corner of the RDR 2 map, so it is basically RDR's map X10

A bigger map would have been welcome if that is the actual map, I'd also like to see more career related quests, they never really made the most of being able to skin animals and hearding cattle.
Maybe in some of the bars? Liquor in the front, Poker in the rear heeheePoker sidequests would be fun.
Actually I did quite like Liars Dice in RDR
Poker sidequests would be fun.
I never really enjoy mini games. Not in the original Red Dead Redemption, not in GTA V, not in San Andreas. I think they end up being over complicated, and a bad version of a full game.
The thing that separates a good mini game from a bad mini game is the time it takes when you aren't playing. Did I want to spend 30 seconds seeing Trevor celebrate every time he wins a point in tennis? No.
You're definitely in the minority then.If RDR1 was highly rated then it was overrated imo.

I can see why people would love it, however for me it started to drag quite a bit in the second half.Huh? RDR is the best game R* have ever done, and one of my favourite games of all time.
I think many share my view.

That being said open world games may just not be my cup of tea.

Yep. I'm not even sure Rockstar will release any game for this generation.GTA Online Halloween DLC

The story was a bit shit once you went south. But I could still play it for hours if my Xbox was still hooked up...I can see why people would love it, however for me it started to drag quite a bit in the second half.

, don't think a game will come close to beating it if they did thatRDR Remaster with first person view and VR capable.

Better not be a remaster. I've had it up to here with those.
