Did you watch Mourinho's Madrid?
He has no longer got Ronaldo in his prime, & the rest of them are not as good as they are hyped up to be. Modric an exception.

This is an absolutely disastrous, abysmal performance... Keeping Lopetegui any minute longer is a huge mistake. At the moment we still have chances in all competitions but it's obvious he isn't the right fit (and I doubt he is a great coach). We need a new impulse, new ideas that work because 3 games in a row without scoring? And we never looked like scoring in those three games... This is the worst since the Alcorconazo, completely shambles... I would even take Mourinho over Lopetegui any day of the week... Realistically it should be Conte, Guti or Raul - but Florentino has to act NOW, waiting any longer just damages our chances to win anything this season...

Bale in place of Ronaldo is not a huge downgrade.
Lopetegui is so out of place... fielding Lucas, Asensio, Mariano, Bale... to end a game with 70% possession is absurd, he's stuck between the old Real Madrid and the one he has in his head but obviously doesn't have the balls to bet for.
He has to either adapt the old gameplan to a worse version (Cristiano was the gem of that style) or either try it with his own ideas, Casemiro, Modric, Kroos, Ceballos and Isco... and only a striker or Bale on a free role like he asked Benitez to play 3 years ago. It would be "so sad" so watch him fail without having the personality to use the players and style he obviously craves for the team.
Possession football but 52 crosses with only one forward on the field that has any kind of aerial prowess (Mariano and Bale later, who plays as a winger), no professional manager can be so dumb to go this route because that's just his plan.
Heard a lot from here saying with Ronaldo gone Benzema and Bale would score tons without Ronaldo holding them back... turns out people are just... clueless. It is a huge downgrade. The first reason being the fact that Bale is a great player when he isn't injured, and he gets injured A LOT. Seing Real Madrid with an attack line such as Asensio/Mariano/Vasquez is just ridiculous.
The second reason is the fact that Benzema was great when he played for Ronaldo, now that CR7 is gone, Benzema is pretty much useless since he doesn't seem very complementary with the other two. So you not only lost Ronaldo, you also lost Benzema and the entire collective balance that was created in the team for years now.

Same people who say Barcelona without Messi will play with more options in attack

No one says that.
No one says that.
Nah, the most accurate thread title was
Nani will reignite our charge to the title
Literally anyone?
You haven’t heard of a man called David Moyes.Possession football but 52 crosses with only one forward on the field that has any kind of aerial prowess (Mariano and Bale later, who plays as a winger), no professional manager can be so dumb to go this route because that's just his plan.
Everyone who thinks this is about missing CR hasn't watched the matches and/or knows nothing about football. The fact that the team is sleepwalking through the opening 10-15 minutes of every game has nothing to do with CR, the fact that the defense is as fragile as it is has nothing to do with CR and if I remember correctly CR hit as many posts or more during the first half of last season so he would probably just hit the post or crossbar at the moment, too. It's a phase that will pass, maybe already tomorrow and in the Clasico. The only question is if Lopetegui is already gone by then. But as I said in many posts in this thread previously I think he is in way over his head, committed crucial errors and never made this his team. He is still playing the Zidane team instead of creating his own RM - and now his time has run out. Never gave Vinicius a real chance, never used Asensio as false 9, threw Reguilon to the wolves in Moscow, never gave Carvajal and Marcelo a rest so both got injured... but still if we win convincingly vs Pilsen and get three points from the Clasico the truth is nothing really has happened...
Lock him up already... at least Hoeness did actual time, Ronaldo will get away with everything he did and tell you how he is just hated for being good looking, rich and successful (which he has already done btw).
The team always sleepwalked through plenty of games and the defense has always been very fragile... the truth is it often didn't matter and they turned it up in the Champions League. Everyone who has watched these players can tell you they have no chance of winning the Champions League this season. It was all about winning La Liga this year and it doesn't really help if after 10 games you're in the bottom half of the table.
Real Madrid have gone a record breaking amount of minutes without scoring a goal 2 months into their first season after their greatest goalscorer ever left and you're actually trying to say it has nothing to do with him leaving?
Just a few minutes after this great comment too.
Maybe you should start watching the matches and base your football opinions on what happens on the pitch rather than letting all the bottled up hatred get in the way of that. At least you're honest though so that's an improvement on how this usually goes
Any decent forward. They obviously wouldn’t get as many goals as Ronaldo but even he would go through some brutal slumps himself now and again.
If they got a decent forward who could even get them 4-5 goals at this point of the season they’d be on top of the table.
Hence why we didn't replace himDefine decent ? Who on the market was out there who could be a decent enough replacement ?
We can still win the CL if Florentino is willing
We're going through the usual cycle: build great team, hire player friendly manager, win, team loses hunger, blame the manager for being too nice to the players, sack him, replace him with a disciplinarian, sack him after 6 months because the players don't take to him, replace with another team friendly manager, sign new players, win.
Rinse, repeat
Why did they allow Bale to stay? The guy is not serious he's always getting injured.
We'll buy a cow. Cows are way better than goats, everybody knows it
I'm glad they did, because the alternative would have been us spending a fortune on him
I've had it. We should sack that moron tonight
