RBS 6 Nations

What the feck were France doing at the end? cnuts should have kicked it dead.

Great game, but ultimately terrible performances from both sides. You can't get away with juvenile rugby anymore.

Yesssssss!!!!

What the feck were France doing at the end??!!! Jesus.

What an amazing day of rugby.
Congrats to the Irish but I don't care who won the tournament, England are finally fun to watch.

All those missed chances against the Scots really bit us in the arse.

Ah well, to help make up for not winning the 6 Nations that cnut Steve Walsh has retired from international refereeing, that's the best bit of news English rugby has had in about 10 years

if owens follows it will be the best day ever.

We can do this!!! Do it for English sport or if not, just do it so we see the Irish cry.

:lol::lol: @Paddies knew that would bite me in the ass!

Was that French try when he ran supidly close to the end line not given incorrectly BTW? Seems to be little made of it, but I'm convinced he dropped it.

I was livid at the time, but on second (tenth/eleventh) viewing it seemed like he never completely lost contact with it before it hit the ground. Dropped yes, but one lucky bastard.

Tries like that get given every week unfortunately. Unless the drop is obvious they tend to give the try.

The 'drop' was no different to Vunipola's grounding anyway. Ben Youngs was superb, I wouldn't have subbed him. Overall Ireland are worthy winners, although there isn't much between the top 3 at all.

I think he completely lost contact with it for a few milliseconds, then recovered and got his fingers on it just as it touched the ground - but even when he got his fingertips back on it, his foot was then planted over the line.

For a sport where the tiniest of margins matter, that winger's stud looked like it was over the line and touching the grass. Out of bounds in my opinion.

Even if he lost contact it would have been backwards wouldn't it

Can't end a game from a direct kick out.

I thought the Frenchman first of all lost control of the ball, then recovered it but his foot was in behind the line.

What do you mean by "direct kick out"? It was a penalty wasn't it? If so then I could have sworn you're able to end a game by kicking a penalty into touch.

Yes you can once 80 is hit its all over once the ball is over the touchline iv seen it hundreds of times you can punt it through your own end zone if you want to.

Why do they not play all of the final day matches at the same time? How anti-climactic for all of the Irish fans to have left the stadium and not see their team lift the bloody trophy.

They showed England v France in the stadium.
