RAWK Goes Into Meltdown 2015-16 Edition

Well what would you expect from the lot that thought babel was better than ronaldo
christ i had forgotten about that... Liverpool fans are special creatures..

Babel was still later when they probably had started to grudgingly acknowledge Ronaldo although I do remember a colleague of mine in office, who used to seat next to me and was Liverpool fan, bombarding me with articles on Babel, skill videos and how they have got their own Ronaldo.

The gem was this though:
I'm not doubting Ronaldo's abilities. Clearly he's a talented kid who may be on the threshold of greatness. It just strikes me as rather odd that no-one has given the same attention to Liverpool's equally stunning new teenage recruit.

It seems Gerard Houllier's mistake with Anthony Le Tallec was to buy him early rather than delay until everyone in Europe wanted him. Obviously, Liverpool should have waited until Le Tallec's value was £12m.

Soon enough, the rest of the nation will wake up to the fact Le Tallec and Ronaldo played in the same world youth championships not so long ago and it was the Liverpool new boy who was voted the best player.

I popped in at the RAWK site because I started to think some of our lads here were stretching it a bit about how bad it is over there. Well it's worse, some of them live in a world of fantasy and others are obviously on some serious medication. Very sad that our once powerful arch rivals have become basket cases - shame!!!

Yes, it is astonishing rightly enough the overall view of things that they hold. And the companion to it is that anyone vaguely sensible with a perspective that the LFC XI aren't necessarily worthy / entitled / capable of complete dominance because there are other teams trying quite hard too, is quite likely to get ridiculed, accused of extreme disloyalty and quite possibly ban-hammered for talking out of turn. Current trend I've noticed is towards a pre-emptive apology to their mods in the first couple of lines of a post if it's remotely controversial.

That's why quite a few of them are now residents over at the caf. Even they aren't that deluded!

I found the site totally weird but have never understood the Scouse mindset ever since my first visit to the place in the 70s. After just a few posts it's boringly repetitive self righteous clap trap that Scouser's have always peddled as their trademark but have now underscored by their constant use of 'believe'. It's a bit like a cult without the attraction of a cult hero, and the mods acting as Druids to guard their fundamentalism. The hysteria and wailing over Sunday is pure zealotry and almost ritualistic - real basket case stuff - and very funny. Imagine being in the Kop with that lot - mass nervous breakdowns when Wayne scored!

When I first joined the Caf, I couldn't understand why some Scousers would rather be here than with their own, it's all a bit clearer now - sad.:)

This was actually from the official site. It's been deleted now, but the Internet never forgets...

The writer of that article actually works for Telegraph right now.

That's gold

Apparently they've bid for Shane Long
Danny Murphy made a great point yesterday. Why bid for Shane Long when they have a £32m bench warmer. I think as long as they have that farce of a transfer committee, they will continue to make terrible signings.

So easy to say this after we lose. Where were you before the game?

You do realise that losing is part of the process and that the character and ability to learn after a loss is the key to succeeding.

I retain full faith that we will win the league this year. Call me or this thread whatever you like. In my life I have seen great things happen from the most difficult of situations - it all starts from having a great attitude.

Right to the end of the West Ham game, I saw a bunch of guys on the pitch with a great attitude trying their hardest. It wasn't our day and this happens. Time to learn the lesson of a painful defeat - it can spur us on to the greatest highs this year.

Klopp will get rid of that fear and inferiority complex amongst some of the players and fans - it may take time but it will happen .

Germans don't do fear as we have seen at penalty shoot-outs
grin.gif

I'd also like to throw Stalingrad in the mix too, that was courageous tbf.

Looks like @Plan M has been reading this thread

When I type RAWK in the search engine the Meltdown twitter and face book pages and two past threads from here are on page 1, out numbering RAWK entries

Mignolet thread.

Shame on you Red Café.

Some of the comments in here are beneath contempt . If you cant support the lad dont bloody post this red cafe style shite in here
Well said, this thread is fecking embarrassing. Makes me feel ashamed to be honest. Some people don't deserve to support our club.

Surely Shane Long is a Klopp choice, he has insane energy levels and can work the gangenpress?

Benteke just isn't a Klopp player. He doesn't defend from the front, thankfully for us on Sunday as well he is offside too often. He is just too lazy for Klopp I think.

Shame on you Red Café.

What's the Red Cafe style? Is it when the posts are written by stylish, articulate, clever people with a witty nature, high self esteem and a general aura of brilliance? Because if it is then I'm on the wrong forum...

Or creeping out early to nick the towels on the deck chairs, a tactic to suit the Germans and the Scousers.

 Soooo true!

The Mignolet thread it's a hotbed of contention.

To be fair redcafe was pretty much the same when I first joined. You would have the likes of an extremely boring man, Murt and that American dude who believed that he wasn't a glory hunter despite starting supporting United after watching us win the treble who would go bonkers when someone criticised the club

If Long does well, he'll be a Klopp signing. If not, the Klopp fans will be tripping over their feet trying to put it on the transfer committee (Who by all accounts were responsible for their only 2 signings that worked out - Coutinho and Sturridge).

Has that United fan been on RAWK yet telling everyone how this is the worst United he's seen play in a hundred years and that Liverpool should have won 8-0?

Ah Jonno White, what a character he is, been a United fan for over 200 years you know!

And thinks Mr Ferguson is a bacon faced, whiskey nose bully who dragged our clubs good name through the dirt.

Redcafe style is someone who seemingly hates everyone at their own club and has no loyalty to their manager or players. They don't believe in romance or shades of grey everything is the best\worst and trsnfers are more fun than football.

The Mignolet thread has been replaced.

Okay. We'll try this again. Hopefully you've all realised what a load of utter arse you posted in the last one and this one will be far more sensible

Que thread now praising him with somebody posting:

Not bad is he, when he was at Sunderland I used to think he had a bit of the Peter Schemichel in him, he can still surprise me from time to time.

I really can't make out if it's sarcasm or not.

Trust me when I tell you that you deserve to be here.

take that as you will
