RAWK Goes Into Meltdown 2015-16 Edition

This year is going to be comedy gold on rawk. Will be poems galore wishing for better times pre -SAF. Besides Coutinho they have nothing to worry teams.

I'd love to say to you all wait until the summer business is finished before you judge.....

But regardless to getting a very good sum for Sterling, I still struggle to see any major signing on the horizon

Although I must say I was pretty happy to see Firminho signing, not world class but he's of good quality and who know's maybe WC Potential? we shall see, that said I think those kind of targets are our best bet, we simply imo cannot attract proven world class players right now

If I try and put myself in the mindset of a world class player and ask myself why move to Liverpool:

Can we offer massive wages? No.

Champions League football? No.

Realistic chance of winning the Premier League? Nope.

Top manager to play under/learn from? Jury's still out on that one but it's not looking good.

Other world class players to play alongside? No.

I've never been one to bang on about wanting the club to splash the cash, but I now believe we need to start making a statement signing or 2, even though I've just said I can't see it happening, its still what we need to do, it would go along way in lifting the team and the fans and the attraction of the team to top top quality players

Stop being all sensible and realistic, you arent supposed to hit that point until christmas!

I think Liverpool s best hope is firmino clicking and Sturridge getting to his best. This will complement players like Milner and Henderson who by themselves aren't going to make them challenge.

I think benteke/Austin is their best option. Lacazette surely has better offers and Kane wouldn't be affordable for them.

Not sure about the thread title, i would have thought something like ''We go again, again'' was obvious until something funny happens during the season.

Have you ever been on RAWK? If so, how many hours was it before you got banned?

Do you know what....your right!!

We'll sign Marco Reus and Lacazette without a hitch because we are Liverpool of course, of who'm will superbly compliment the likes of Firminho and Coutinho, ontop of bringing the best out of Henderson, lallana, Ibe, Can etc etc as well as Sturridge being less injury prone because surely this season can't get any worse than last for him, leading us to smashing the league to bits!!! :D

Better?

United aren't winning the league. I won't say 'no chance', but it's very unlikely. Back in Europe, loads of new signings to bed in, their defence is still poor and De Gea is all but gone. They also need to replace RVP and let's not forget they pretty much got 4th last season by virtue of the league being of a very poor standard.

Quote me on this all you like, but if they win the league then I'll get a tattoo with the words 'Twenny Timez' on my wrist, and specifically there so everybody can see it.

I love the 'back in Europe' part as if it's something we're not used to. I mean, it's not as if last season was the first time in 20 years we had just the Premier League and domestic cups. As someone pointed out, shouldn't the tattoo be 'Twenny One Timez'?

What have they spent now, about 1 billion in the past few seasons ?

Yeah that sounds about right.

Much....... thanks

WTF?!? We had a great debate going on what this thread should be named. Also, where's the front page graphic?

You're doing it wrong Mitchell! :D

@Damien - recommend we rename thread just until a proper name is chosen. And yes it matters.

I still think we should go with a play on the Tolkien novels: "RAWK goes into Meltdown: Bored of the Ings"

Just been looking for some good RAWKy quotes and there's this weird acceptance of being shite running through the forum. It's almost like, dare I say it.... reality.

Doesn't hurt to start quoting actual posts, does it? ;)
Seems the league is always poor standard when they do well.

The reply is obvious.
Why don't you just support them it would be far easier.

Do well. They won just as much as us and lost three in a row at the back end of the season.

But I forget they finished 4th and that's all that matters in football these days.
6-1 to Stoke. Enough said.

What pisses me off about them is when they go on about money. They are STILL slightly ahead of us in total spenditure in the Prem era, and we had our biggest transfer season ever last summer yet they only spent less than £30mil less than us in the same window yet they act like we buy everything that we win while they are a pennyless team.
Its so fecking annoying.

Thats because facing the reality that they fecked up is too hard for them to accept.

I wonder how many of those "human beings" abusing Sterling's kid are on RAWK.

They're absolutely mad over on that forum. Batshit cray cray.

'Meh, Bastian's finished. I'd rather have Schneiderlin'

...*United sign Scheiderlin*

'Still think they'll struggle for top four. Dutch Big Sam will still be getting them to hoof to Screech.'

Obviously the spelling and grammar on show is much worse but I won't bring myself down to their level.

We could have Messi, Ronaldo and Bale as a front three and still finish several points behind their almighty Lambert and Balotelli frontline.

Their Man City thread is like watching a complicated movie, like that one with Leo DiCaprio and he goes into different stages of dreams and stuff. It's pretty good reading actually

The paranoia of Bluemoon could rival GoT for fewmin.

Not only that, I fear that there's a conspiracy amongst the 'so called big European clubs, in agreeing not to sell to us either... While, at the same time, quite happily doing so amongst themselves. (for massively over inflated fees).

Perfect way of ensuring that the quality of our squad will slowly deteriorate, over time, (Look what's happened since 2012) ensuring that we will "soon be put back in our rightful place," and no longer pose a threat to "the elite"

There's a post over there that goes by the name Ian Salisbury and he has close to half a million posts. What in the absolute feck.

Just saw the OP. Jesus Christ that is one lazy ass opening post. @Damien please sort it out.

Are you trying to be our Johnno White for the fun of it, or is it that you are actually serious?
I can't make up my mind.
