RAWK Goes into Meltdown 2014/2015 - The "We go again" Edition

Right, so this Brentie character on RAWK who is going round saying "I told you so", appears to be a total mentalist (shocking news, I know). He has a blog. It's full of the usual Man United conspiracy nonsense, but there's also an entry where he compares some of the clubs in the Prem with religious sects. I shit you not. Here it is in all its insane glory:

Christian Maronites- Liverpool Football Club

Rich history, always been present at the highest echelons of the game. Very attached to past legends. Deify ex managers.

Hugely influential in the 70s and 80s, where they went through triumphs and tragedies but been largely marginalized since 1990.

Returned in force on the world stage in 2005, but comebacks of past legends have not managed to bring back the glory days. Finding it hard to accept they may never reach the heights they did before. Going with youth now.

Recent history blighted by infighting.

Sunnis- Manchester United

Always present with big, huge numbers of followers. But only really dominated the local scene since the early 90s.

Blamed by many for having corrupted the local arena, credited by others for having revolutionized the modern game.

Have had the most wealth for the last 2 decades, but events since 2005 have weakened the purse strings. Currently rumored to be in debt.

Current owner considered to be risking his life if he ever comes back to Old Trafford. Have looked nervously at their noisy neighbors for a few years now who have recently surpassed them.

February is seen as a very dark month in their history, due to a tragedy which is remembered annually.

Druzes- Arsenal

While having a rich history themselves, never reached the heights or numbers of Sunnis or Christians- certainly not abroad.

Despite this, they’ve always been relevant and decisive on the local scene. Led by a cult like figure whose capacity to keep his club relevant despite their lack of numbers is admired by many.

Haven’t had real success for a while.

Shiites- Chelsea

Despite claims to the contrary, have always been present on the local scene- though never having the numbers to show it.

Only really made it big in the last decade. Known worldwide now but are often ridiculed for their lack of history compared to their rivals- though have been more succesful than bigger clubs in the last few years.

While supposedly having several decision makers, only one (bearded) man really holds the power. Are largely financed by money coming from the East. Despite often seen as being in turmoil, regularly achieve success.

Hold the longest undefeated streak at home in the game. Defence was near impregnable around 2005/06. Constantly strengthen their attacking arsenal much to the dismay and anger of their rivals.

Christian Orthodox- Everton

Few can compare with their history, but have struggled for a long time now. The Christian Maronites’ ugly sister.

Seem to be a tad more relevant nowadays but still a long way away from being decision makers on the local and international scene.

Copts- Fulham

Led by an Egyptian. They exist.

Apparently.

The only inoffensive sect out there. This is probably due to the fact that no-one has actually noticed they exist.

Jews- Stoke

Founding members of the football league. Been around for ages, since the genesis of professional football. Known for their unmerciful and unrelenting attacks from air and ground, bombing the opposing team back to the stone ages.

Owned by a man who made fortunes in the legalised gambling industry.

Spend their time bullying and using every dirty trick in the book to gain an edge on their rivals; are then incredulous with self rightheous indignation when said rivals react to their provocation.

Not liked by many. They don’t care.

Local presence nigh on invisible.

Allawites- Aston Villa

Rich in history- never been more in danger of ruin though.

Current leader (who studied his trade in Europe), came into power under a wave of pomp and cicumstance with near unanimous backing from all key stakeholders.

At present , however, fans are said to be very much 50-50 as to whether he's the right man to lead them anymore.

Infighting between supporters a well reported theme at Villa Park.

What the feck is this shit? Don't tell me that retard is Lebanese!

Worrying that not even one of their summer signings has looked decent.

Lallana has gotten progressively better and better. He was very good against Middlesbrough and yesterday he was the best player on the pitch along with Henderson. I suspect he'll be a player like Henderson or Allen who never fully get the credit they deserve.

Moreno has looked good particularly going forward and Manquillo has been good too.

Balotelli, Lovren and Markovic have all been good at times as well as poor. Markovic hasn't really played much though and he's the player who'll probably take the most time to settle. Origi has been very good for Lille and Can hasn't played enough to make an initial judgment.

So a bite gets punished by a lengthy ban and this assault with the potential of actually hurting a fellow professional gets 3 games? It's not like he hasn't got a history of it too, I remember him trying to bash someone's face in with an elbow a couple of seasons ago.

I don't remember this much outrage when Carragher assaulted Nani.

I thought it was a wind-up when I heard he'd thrown a strop and walked out. Some people are trying to excuse his behaviour and having a dig at Brendan's management skills instead.

If I was the manager, and a multi-millionaire "professional" player walked out on the club, the team and the fans during the derby of all games, I'd have told the c*nt to keep walking.

Thankfully we have two decent centre backs at the club ahead of him. We'll have to give him a second chance just to get our money back on him.

Really?

Tough games coming up for them soon enough. About time too.

You know that every team play each other twice and that it evens out? It's not like when Chelsea get an easy cup draw every year.

A RAWKite said:
What did Thatcher get for assaulting Mendes? I know Downing hasn't got his face broken, but this is just as bad. Intent to hurt is there. fecking despicable that.

 No.

A RAWKite said:
The only reason I can see Utd beating Everton is because the blues have to do a round trip to Russia a couple of days before the game. Whereas the mancs get a nice rest. If they were both as fit and as fresh as each other I reckon Everton would at the very least get a point at OT.

Seconds away from losing three in a row, now they'd be disappointed to get a point at Old Trafford if not for the European fixture.

So how come Rooneh only gets a 3 game ban? He has done it multiple times now and shows no sign of stopping. He lashed out in the spur of the moment (like suarez did).

Pathetic.

 Still going on about Suarez. What Rooney did was reckless, idiotic reaction after not getting a decision which deserved a straight red. What Suarez did was bite an opponent for the third time with no provocation. You know what's really pathetic? Wearing t-shirts supporting someone found guilty of racism.

RAWK making up shite again, they love an imaginary song.....

Just watching the United game now on 'Game of the day'. I could be wrong, but are these idiots really chanting "You Scouse bastard" at the ref, for sending off a Scouser. You could not make it up. Not a brain cell between them.

Not sure why I am so surprised, they shout it at everyone with an affiliation to ourselves, all while a scouser wears their captains armband.
So United fans sang you scouse bastard at lee Mason, from Bolton, Greater Manchester!! Yep, sure that happened guys.

You just had to bring KKK back in to it!
The guys a hero to the scousers and that picture of him in that tee shirt..man, sad.

I was at the game today and my one and only comment is with our fans moaning and groaning after EVERY little mistake the team makes, it's fecking shit. It was the same at Southampton. We weren't playing badly by any stretch of the imagination and the fans energy seeps onto the pitch. Since when do we get on our team's back? It sounded like a mid table premiership team atmosphere today with the way the fans groaned to be honest.

I remember about 8 years ago I was down my old caravan site. I was only quite young but my sister was round her mates caravan, and me and my mum were at our own caravan. It must have been about 11pm and was pitch black, so me and my mum drove round to pick her up. Along the side of the road there is a steep hill which leads down to a little lake, and as we got close to it about 3 people flew down there on bicycles, barring in mind its pitch black and the hill is quite steep, and the only lights were from our car and none of these bicycles had lights on. Obviously it could have just been some nutters out on a bike ride, but it's just my only experience where I could say I believed it could have been a 'ghost'.

What the feck have i just read. FFS!

What was that?

Incredible racism in there.

He's basically liking us and other teams to political/religious parties in Lebanon.

Christians- historically strong but since 1991 have been nowhere to be seen.
The guy with the goatie- His dad was assassinated in a bomb explosion in 14 February, he says a tragedy happened in February that is celebrated every year (The Busby Babes plane tragedy).

Basically keeps liking teams in the PL to religious and secular parties in Lebanon.

Seriously, it's fecking stupid...

Eh? I'm pretty sure that was the chant as in the ref must be a scouser!
