Slippy and Skrtl hurtl out of the CL

Sign a striker.

Its absolutely shocking that Brendan sold the best striker in the league, then proceeded to not replace him*.
Then unluckily for him, he lost Sturridge to injury.
I dont understand why Liverpool fans are not mentioning the Suarez situation - best striker in the league and they let him go.
*I dont count Balotelli as a replacement - he is an experiment...nothing more.

Wasn't he the second coming of Jesus combined with Megatron possesing footballing skills of zidane x a 1000 last season?

You are thinking of the wrong Liverpool player. It's clearly Daniel Pacheco that they are talking about.

Another gem from the RAWK today:

All this crisis talk does my head in.

We're unbeaten in 4, turned the corner results wise, playing some good football, with our two world class strikers injured. Got a creditable draw against the Swiss champions who are themselves unbeaten in 6, and should have won - really missing balotelli's blend of pace, guile and power. Really just unfortunate imo.

Markovic looked really really bright, if not for the ferguson bought c*nt of a ref who sent him off we would be here celebrating an impressive victory.

While we might not have won, still feel we have enough to get a result against the mancs. Sunday is a second chance, as Brendan puts it, for folklore.

So the only reason why they lost is because they are missing the "world-crass" Balotelli that has only scored 2 in all competitions this season, and SAF is still pulling the strings from his retirement office.

Sounds satirical to me.

Half the people on RAWK are Manchester United and Everton fans taking the piss, it's the only logical explanation.

Liverpool didn't lose the UCL, the UCL lost Liverpool.

We can finally use this statement again.

Hello Redcafe voyeurs.

Have some pride in your work and pick something that isn't so blatantly written to be lifted and posted on your sad little thread haha.

He has a point, there's posts we see on here that are so obviously Manchester United or Everton fans taking the piss.

Would have done had the ref not been a complete and utter twat. Doesn't take away from the fact that we were shite though.
Would have lost more like. Basel sat back to defend the lead against 10men late in the game allowing you guys to make a comeback. It was very much like our City game. It's not uncommon for teams have a slight lead to do that. You got the break where Starfish Gerrard scored from a freekick, but without the sending off Basel might not have eased off as much.

We better beat them on the weekend.
Don't see it happening though. Even though I am convinced that we will not go with the 3-5-2 formation. I still see Liverpool going mad and getting a point or 3 :-(

You don't see us winning at home against a team who just had an extra midweek game, getting knocked out of the champions league, is currently 9th in the league and has average at best players all over the pitch, and nobody who would get in our team, as well as us being the in form team in the league?

Seriously, last season destroyed the confidence of so many of you lot on here that even after a great run of form, people aren't confident when we come up against a shite team like Liverpool. Yes, form goes out the window in big games. They're still shite player wise though so that doesn't matter.

To be fair, games against Liverpool have seen our form go out of the window. It's a derby match, we used to have storming seasons and still watch that bald cnut Danny Murphy nick a set piece goal and Liverpool would beat us.

To be fair, apart from the 3-0 win against Hulll, the other matches were pretty scrappy, and could really be points lost if not for De Gea.

I wonder why does every club that fall out of the CL thinks it's so easy to win the Europa League?

most of them thinking that Europa League is just a sunday team league, while it's not as glamor as the CL, it still consists lots of formidable teams that can make your day

So when's the book out then?

'Make Us Dream II: the uplifting story of how Liverpool FC almost made it out of the CL group stages, and inspired a generation.'

I just happened to create this and posted to another thread:
