I was actually torn in the last few minutes between wanting them to lose thereby getting to see them go bonkers tonight and then see them in the EL but with the increased chance of them winning something versus them winning and going on to be hammered by Barca or Bayern or someone similar.

It's win win really as long as they play like this. :lol:

Proud of the lads, we gave them a real scare in the last 10 minutes, we matched them pass for pass then, against a top european team. I can's ask for much for more, our players did their best, they're just not good enough. for instance, hendo, allen, and lucas are average and nnot talented enough. Next season we can go again.

Yup. It doesn't affect the league qualifying route though. If they win and finish outside top 4, PL will have 5 teams in CL next year.

I've obviously watched more of Liverpool this season than those who were questioning whether or not they'd win the Europa League anyway...

You couldn't advance from a group consisting of two sides who wouldn't appear out of place in the Europa League and Real Madrid, do you genuinely think you'll win it?
