Thick is one word that doesn't seem out of place alright
I know loads of Liverpool fans and they now think it's ok to use certain words and phrases in an 'ironic' way. I have seen one guy post on another's facebook wall: "Fancy going out for a few bevvies on Saturday, negro?" And, yes, both are white. Such comments are commonplace now. They just dont get it.

Most people seem to be just slating Evra and calling him a cnut.

Yes, we all know he wouldn't have celebrated exactly like that had it been Wigan we were playing. He celebrated because he was the one who was abused, he had his character questioned by LFC. He chose to be classy today, and offered his hand for Suarez to shake. Suarez refused and this would have annoyed Evra.
All this the last few months was bubbling inside him, and all the while he's kept quiet. I think it's testament of him that he chose to celebrate with the fans rather than flooring the cnut as he walked off the pitch.
