RAWK goes into Meltdown 20/21 Edition

That Rhys Williams kid looks like the Langmore junkie in Ozark. That's a no in my book.

Iv'e been watching football for 47 years and iv'e never seen a team as jammy as this lot. They are mid table at best but yet somehow they keep getting these lucky wins.

Jammiest bastards in world football. Anyone who thinks this shower of shite is a threat to us needs to seriously give their heads a wobble.

United don't have to be good if they keep spawning games, been saying that for awhile now. How good/bad they are on paper means nothing if they're constantly gifted points

Knew that one would annoy that lot

It's like these feckers have completely forgotten the spawny last minute winners they got last season while playing absolute dogshite.

Utd win late - Jammy

Liverpool win late -great mentality never say die attitude by the team

The last one makes a very good point. Who gives a feck how we win games as long as we're winning them? Their run to 2005 Champions League final was the jammiest thing I've seen in football but it still counts like all the others.

I think this is the issue

The very thought of them lifting the league is so repulsive after the side we’ve built, Getting 97 fecking points and nothing for it.
For them to come along and win it. Yeah I can’t even amd neither can anyone on here.
I think that’s where the ‘bedwetting’ comes from.

Except the bedwetting hasn't been about them alone, it's been about every other side who has been near the top. just replace the name with a different club
No, what is repulsive is lads on here actually thinking this man utd side is actually any good.

Aye they are dogshit.

who does the bed wetting? And why?

if it’s the Liverpool fans, at least they can get their mums to wash their sheets. And I’m sure they have at least two Liverpool single duvet covers and pillow sets.

I think also a lot of people are taking our levels for granted. It’s nigh on impossible to reach the standards we’ve reached for the last two and a half years consistently. We’re likely to experience a dip at some point. Hopefully there’s no one to take advantage when it happens
Let’s be honest if we didn’t have a crisis at CB we wouldn’t be giving a feck about United...our injuries have made this a title race.

In a nutshell.
If we don't sign a CB in January it will be a toss of a coin who wins this league.
That United away game in early May is looking tasty already
They’re extremely lucky and extremely reliant on Bruno Fernandes. Not sustainable.

That's what they said about Leicester and Vardy.
Draws have been screwing us otherwise it wouldn't be close.
Perhaps the kick up the backside we needed.Leeds scored 5 against West Brom and United is winning consistently. No one is going to roll over for us. If our players keep playing like that did last Sunday then prepare to be a one season champion
City have a game in hand, with that they're 3 points behind, and the Mancs are not a better side than them.
City are the biggest threat as they're the most experienced, have the 2nd best manager in the league, and have the 2nd best team in the league, they are certainly a better overall team than the Mancs, and they're more defensively solid.
It's like people have forgotten how many false dawns Ole has had.
When he believes his own hype and gets all the luck, their general shitness steps in and says "Hold my coat, lads"

I don't know whether its an inside joke, but they genuinely seem to think we've the FA in our back pocket!

It's hilarious how one title has gone to their heads so much. They act like they have created a sporting dynasty over 2 seasons. Just imagine if we win the league this year, the reaction and meltdown is going to be collosal.

Absolutely no chance can they win it. We would have to fall off the cliff completely.
We'll finish at least 12-15 points clear of them and I'll take that bet with anyone.

It's not about us just falling off a cliff, it's them also not dropping points, which they did just the other day when they drew 2-2! I feel like I live in an alternative universe.
No mate we are the only ones who don't win every game and drop points all the time. That's why we are the ones top of the......er wait a minute
I’m sure there was someone last game moaning that City don’t drop points like we did against West Brom
You can make all the reasons, rational arguments in the world but there’s absolutely no accounting for raw stupidity
it's not just the Mancs, it was Chelsea the other day and Spurs the day before. I don't ever remember any of yous saying we were in the title race after 15 games in the last 20 years when were a couple of points behind whoever was at the top
We still have to play them twice. Win both of those and they won't be catching us
People seem to forget that one of the top 10 players in the World this year is about to return to our team after a 10-week absence ...

Hah, I like how they cite us dropping points against Leicester away as a reason as to why we’ve no hope of a title challenge, meanwhile in the same round they dropped points to West Brom

So blinkered.

WBA didn’t pack their 18 yard area like they did against us...........pity they decided to play the way they did against us.
Can anyone tell me where the 5 minutes came from?

Howard Webb is Fat c*nt Moss’s Dad
Momentum. You don’t see them dropping late points. Oh, you’re right, they did. They’re City’s stalking horse as said. Worry about them, not what’s immediately behind us.

We’re so much better than them but anyone who’s watched football before circa 2013 knows that they aren’t an ordinary side. They get rubs of the green where others don’t. This season in particular is showing a return to their invincibility with officials. Add to that the fact that the league want a title race and you’d be slightly naive to think they won’t be in the final reckoning, with huge backing to get over the line first. City have a lot of catching up to do and will have a lot of games to play in a short space of time as the season rolls on. In a normal season without horrific injury luck and correct officiating we’d be at least 10 points clear, this isn’t a normal season however and I think they’ll be hanging around like a bad smell unless we can move up a gear over the next two months. This isn’t bed wetting, as I’ve alluded to, we’re much better than them, but we go there in May and the Premier League and Sky will love that to be a title decider, a 19 leagues v 20 shoot out. The only way we can stop that happening is to up our levels massively.

Liverpool won the league last season in exactly the same manner we are getting results. Performances below the squads capabilities but enough in the mentality to win a game.

They are a great laugh. Their knowledge of football is far too clouded to be taken seriously.

I had a quick read of their United thread and a couple of them are saying they are worried and the rest are shutting them down and acting like their team are 1970's Brazil still. They are not as good as they were the last 2 seasons.

They shouldn't be worried, tbh. We aren't going to win the PL this season atleast. They'll breakaway soon enough.

Really hope that Williams plays CB vs us.

I think it would be that big lad Philips more likely, quite a solid defender but slow and crap on the ball. Could well be 2 teams with super deep lines trying to counter on each other.

We're dogshit. Hopefully the closer we get to them the more chance they'll be covered in us.

Fernandes misses any time they’ve had it. If he doesn’t they might get within 10 points.
..
Which United player would you take in our team ?
Fernandes and all of their first team centrebacks.
Any centre back that can run
..
. ..We’re likely to experience a dip at some point. Hopefully there’s no one to take advantage when it happens
We've already dipped.
And consequently the gap is two points. We can’t be blasé, if we keep dropping points like we have been, someone will take advantage. Don’t get me wrong, if injuries and officiating were pretty consistent across the league we’d be miles ahead.

To those who ARE in free fall panic about Man Utd I say this
Are they better than City? No
Will they finish above City? Not a chance
But when you change it from City to us you start the panic because you’re too close to it to look back and see it.
Trying to keep it simple:

It is between us and City.
If we do not sort out our CB situation by mid Jan, then City are clear favorites.
If we do sort out our CB situation by mid Jan, then we are slight favorites, City 2nd.

I'll make it even simpler ...
Ladbrokes have it -
Liverpool 1/1
City 9/5
United 15/2
Bookies are rarely wrong when it comes to title odds.

They're morons. Good to have this thread with RAWK talking about a United win. The slow road back to normality starts here.
