RAWK goes into Meltdown 19/20 Edition

At least if you going to act injured, hold the right side:lol:

Hasn't the offending boot already caused a horizontal gash (no jokes please) on the back of his right calf? Just about where Origi is holding in the next picture.

It’s good to see RAWK are self aware as ever, and fully onboard and supporting or agreeing with Jamie Carragher speaking out about racism, and admitting they were in the wrong with the t-shirts supporting Suarez after the Evra incident. You can always rely on them to be on the right side of an incident, and on message with general public opinion. Or not.
The Evra thing aside, those quotes sum up the caf's G Nev thread. Some United fans think Neville is against us these days and the Liverpool fans seem to think the same about Carragher.

They've never forgiven Carragher for betraying Jesus Rafa.

Wasn't sure where to post this as not really RAWK but it did make me chuckle:

Liverpool fans miss game because they went to Ghent onstead of Genk
https://sporza.be/nl/2019/10/24/liverpool-fans-in-gent-in-plaats-van-genk/

Liverpool played its 3rd group match in the Champions League on Wednesday evening at the Genk site. Not all supporters with a ticket were able to watch the match on the spot due to a striking misunderstanding.

Two Liverpool fans were noticed half an hour before the start of the match in the center of Ghent.

They were looking for the stadium where their beloved club had to play their match later that evening. But they were mistaken about the letter, because they obviously had to be in Genk.

Too late to report to Limburg, the two were satisfied with a visit to a local cafe. There they took a slightly embarrassed photo.

AA Gent wanted to give their visit to Ghent a positive end with tickets for the Europa League match against Wolfsburg, but in the meantime the duo have crossed the Channel again.

Ghent then invites the two Liverpool fans as honorary guests for AA Gent-Genk on 24 January. Hopefully they will know the difference between the two cities.

Nice to see they're still pushing the Suarez never said negro (he did, he admits it in the report, dispute was over number of times said and meaning) and United players sang Hillsborough songs in Moscow lines. The latter is a particular favourite of theirs. Funny none of them ever have a video of this incident. I'm sure they all just forgot to make a big deal of it at the time. As Liverpool do any time they are wronged.

It'd be pretty hard for studs to cause a gash on Origi's right caff when there was zero contact with the right leg. Lindelof's left boot touches the front of Origi's left shin and that's about it.

Do you have a link to this picture as I've not seen it anywhere?

Ahead of the big game..
This seems to be doing the rounds and they find it quite funny.....

City have decided to remove any images of Premier League titles from their team coach for Sunday because every time Liverpool get close to one, they bottle it
I’d still go with lining the route in complete silence, just staring at them.
Fecking hell, Kubrick, calm down.
Hearing that Guardiola has reported himself to the Premier League after spooking himself out with his own mind games this week.
Tiny man if true.

Mark my words, liverpool lose tomorrow, then the wheels will start to fall off, with City top after January. No need to worry lads.

The sheer incomprehensible injustice of Liverpool doing well

The tinderbox of football-social media is a cavalcade of poison and angst at the best of times, but it is currently dialled up to ‘11’ with the galling sight of Liverpool sitting pretty at the top of the league with a relatively huge lead over their closest rival, Man City. Sunday’s victory was as sweet as can be for any Red but it has become extremely apparent over the past 72 hours or so that many other football fanatics, of all persuasions, do not share our sense of glee at these state of affairs.

In fact, a casual perusal of rival forums and Twitter will see a level of anger aimed at Liverpool FC and their fans on a level that I really do not think I have come across before. It’s not so much the sentiment that is startling – we’ve heard it all before – but the scale of the deafening chorus of bile and indignation about what is taking place. They are livid. They are furious. Up with this, they will not put!
More moaning and big words:

That’s a very good read in truth. Brings to light the gnashing of teeth around Liverpool being good and the idea that it’s down to some unknown conspiracy.

I must have missed that in the midst of every pundit in the country burying their head up Liverpool's arse. Even if some people are rooting against you that is just what happens with whoever is top of the league.

This is a united forum, we’re supposed to hate them. Most of us have grew up alongside arrogant deluded Liverpool fans and their hatred towards United. You seem to be forgetting all the anti United “Howard Webb” conspiracy theories a lot of Liverpool fans used to throw around as well as the hatred towards Sir Alex, the Munich chants etc etc. Also there’s the fact 80% of the media seems to either support or suck up to Liverpool.

Ok

Excellent retort, that famous scouse wit wins the day again.

Pointless arguing with them mate.
Whatever point you make, you're just bitter.
Bitter that everybody's second team is doing well. Bitter that you're not part of the greatest and most knowledgeable fanbase in the universe.
Bitter because 6 times la.
Bitter that you don't swear at busses.
Bitter that sky doesn't allocate 5 mins of air time so you can sing your twatty song.
Bitter that your team is finished now fergies gone (still won more since)

It makes sense they resist us, they are petrified of once again surrendering English football to the mighty Red Machine. Everyone knows that if we win it this year, we aren't going to stop winning it for a long fecking time, this club creates dynasties not mere champions.

Their fear is a spiritual compliment of the highest order, and we are a spiritual team, and Jurgen Klopp realized that just as Bill Shankly did all those decades ago. The Holy fecking trinity, noone else has that, only Liverpool.

Breathe it all in lads, this is what we have been waiting for, the liverbird rising from the ashes, the revival of Liverpudlian dominance. Don't expect to re-colonize English football and expect these to applaud their own demise, Liverpool's world domination is their worst nightmare, laugh in their fecking faces and enjoy the ride.

Do they know that VVD song is about Salford I wonder. And used to be played at OT before the start of the game (not sure If it is still played)

Exactly. I never understood people hating United, even when we were the best (apart from Liverpool and City fans). I don't think we did much wrong. Maybe Fergie's antics wound some people up. We certainly didn't act like Liverpool fans though. The weirdest thing is they've always been like this, even when they were shit. So many of them have only ever known shit with a sprinkling of glitter every now and then as well, but they've still always acted this way.

Yeah exactly, it’s funny how no matter what part of the country or even world Liverpool fans come from, they seem to share the same arrogant character traits when it comes to talking about football, the feeling that they are “entitled” to be top of the league.

Just to play Devil's Advocate here, though - can you not see similar traits bubbling to the surface among our own fanbase?

We've been shite for 6yrs, and already we're:

1) Harking back to the halcyon days of SAF
2) Class of 92
3) 'The United Way' / United DNA - like we have some unique way of winning trophies other than splashing big money on great players and integrating them alongside homegrown talent.....like many, many clubs have done.

I could quite easily see our fanbase being the new RAWK by 2025 if I'm honest, banging on about rising again like the Phoenix and how we're doing things differently to everyone else and nobody but us can see this incredible masterplan we have in place just waiting to unfold.

I met him in a Tescos' on the Wirral once. By himself, just shopping. Went up to him, said cheers for Istanbul and everything he'd done. He was very polite, chatted about new signings and the state of the club for about 5 mins by the frozen chickens.

It's like Brief Encounter...by the frozen chickens.

I think the difference is that most of us have lived through our dominance, and we have mega money so expect it to be used better now.
Liverpool fans my age have barely known success but act like the past few years is how they've always been. They've always acted strange, entitled and deluded. Not to mention obsessed with us.

There's definitely similarities with Liverpool's downfall, especially with dropped standards and even a bit of 'next year is our year' over the last few years, but we're nowhere near as bad (and weird) of a fanbase.

Wouldn't really expect much of a meltdown even if we go out. We're still in a strong position domestically and have a squad which can rotate for the EL.

It'd still be a disappointment of course. Not much of a trophy defense.
