"I do feel there is a lad being led behind all of this .Barca have got into his families ear and they are now doing all the pushing with that shite hawke agent briefing sky. Can picture all of them sitting in Phils apartment today when the club released the statement then his brother firing off a transfer request on the lap top straight away." Breaking.. It was actually HIS BROTHER who handed in the request :lol:

If Trump was a forum, it would be that place.

Love the post that talka about the duty RAWK members have, says everything you need to know about their delusions.

The about-turn they all do, from Murdoch conspiracy to utter despair, the second Paul Joyce tweets is fantastic.

Can someone please link to the Coutinho thread here?

Not on RAWK no, RAWK is a support group for people who's life has no meaning without Liverpool football Club FC five times la LFC FC.

You know, the kind of wanker who you can work with just fine with for years on end, till you have a discussion about football and he finds out you don't support Liverpool football Club FC five times la LFC FC and now you are a manure supporting cnut at work and not the guy who's had your lazy as feck scouse back every time you've bunked off.

Scours cnut.
This example seems very specific. But it isn't. A very common occurrence when one has to work with Scousers.. .

From RAWK:

With £260 million you could bring in some serious talent. I'd want us going after any world class player who has made noises about moving this summer.

Sanchez, Mbappe, Griezmann, Bale, Mahrez, Ozil, Costa, Dembele, Keita, Van Dijk, Aubameyang

Show ambition. Show everyone what level we want to play at. We want to compete at the very top level, so we are going to buy the very top level,

Who'd have thought that the famous red machine that Europe feared that was also as one with the fans has now turned into such a fecking soap opera laughing stock of a club.

Decent post
We're seeing both sides of the transfer saga this summer. What we're slagging Coutinho for we're applauding Van Dijk for trying to push things through.

Hard to get to annoyed at this point, it's just part of the shitshow around modern football. We can refuse to sell of course, just like Southampton can. At this point I'd be happy if one of them was here at the end of the window, don't really mind which way round at this point. I know they're not similar players but the sentiment is the same.

I thought the 4 hours I'm about to spend on a ferry would be dull and boring. Now I'll have the salty tears of RAWK to keep me going.

Ferry across the Mersey? Be careful I've heard the water level has risen, and become salty because of the tears.

vwdwetters yes but I'm reading a lot of embarrassing posts from our fans regarding this mess. The mancs must be in stitches reading the hypocrisy on here.we have done this to so many other clubs yet when it happens to us we go into meltdown...do ye seriously want an unhappy player when we could get a lot of money for what is an over praised player. he's good but not that fecking good and certainly not worth 120 mill but if those silly c*nts in Barcelona want to pay us that much we should take it...

RAWK poster has nailed it. So true.

Apparently there's some story going round that Barcelona used Guardiola to tap up Coutinho and sell to him the merits of moving to Barcelona now. I can't find a link and it sounds like the most obviously bullshit claim this side of "we're here to win trophies" by the likes of Werner, not least because Guardiola is not the Barcelona manager.

That said, if Ernesto Valverde is just a placeholder appointment until Guardiola returns to his alma mater next summer, then the Man City coach could be looking to shape his next move by having them get some of his targets in now. It's not that far-fetched given how the Spaniard was speaking to the top brass at Bayern not long after they lost the CL final in 2012, and confirmed a deal with Bayern 6 months before he started there in summer 2013 (Jupp Heynckes was portrayed as a dead man walking once Bayern confirmed Guardiola as their next coach, yet still finished the season with a treble). He also confirmed his deal with City halfway through 2015/16, leaving Manuel Pellegrini as a dead man walking (the Chilean coach still won the League Cup).

It's all conjecture but hey, there are loads of people making a fortune on little more than conjecture.

Praise the lord!

Best player hands in transfer request opening day of the season, now that's poetry. Where's that made up Coutinho quote from last week?

Not RAWK, but from a friend of a friend on FB. The delusion is alive and well even here in America. (he probably posts on RAWK with that logic)

Threadmark this! The poems have begun!

Hiya...you that arsed anymore, I'm not

The Kop Sings On

Players love that spotlight glow.
Kiss the badge all love to show.
Lapping up the riches and fame.
On a kids back I see their name.

They sign along the dotted line.
A future pledged, 5 years of time.
But then suddenly out the blue.
Alarms bells ring, it's nothing new.

A player we hear has 'itchy feet'
A 'tapped up' deal near complete.
'He's going nowhere' fans assured.
At no price he goes, say the board.

The player 'suffers' a minor strain.
Suddenly unable to travel or train.
That ominous sign, he's on his way.
Agents net another huge pay day.

As fans we don't matter, I don't care.
I know how it works, I'm well aware.
Players are employers, nothing more.
The Kop sings on, there's the door.

Dont know how to quote from other sites, but this is a quote!!

If he wants to go then let him but on our terms. We have to accept that for overseas players probably have dreams of playing for Barcelona ect.

I'd tell him to keep his agent quiet, let us sign try and sign Keita (£70m all upfront) and the same with VVD (we have that available anyway) then personally I'd just use as much as needed to get Deli Ali from spurs.

Would rather Phil stayed but that's going to be difficult, £120m and all upfront minimum or tempt in PSG

Keita and VVD have been chased for months and not bought. But selling their best player means both the other teams would change their minds and sell now. And the players wouldnt be put off by lfc selling the best player again and the lack of ambition

Spurs would sell Deli for only £60M for sure and he would want to join lfc certainly

And im certain that Phil, his agent, Barca, lfc and everyone else would agree to keep quiet on this plan and then they will sell him

Genuis
