Ravel Morrison (Only football related)

His positioning for the Wolves throw in at the end was quite exceptional tbh.

Good for him to get on, but a shame he didn't get longer on the pitch.

According to Wes he's been training with the first team quite a bit this season

'He's a great player he's been training with us now on and off from the start of the season. I think the gaffer really likes him, he's very talented and you know he'll be absolutely delighted to get on there for even a couple of minutes although he didn't touch the ball. He's a good lad and hopefully he can keep on progressing from here'

He's clearly taller than he was when he burst onto the scene 2 years ago, but 6' 1''? Doesn't look it.

Ahh, well that makes sense. Meanwhile, Ra'vel looked really impressive in the highlights from the Everton game. Mazy dribbles, a great shot that hit the bar and that wonderful pass to Michael Keane in the second half. This kid can do a bit of everything it seems. With either foot.

For about 20 mins in that game Ravel was totally unplayable. It reminded me a bit of the Blackburn game from which the famous gif came from. He's such a natural talent, lets hope he continues to develop like he has in the last year as he's the sort of player you'd happily pay to watch.

It's always great to have an English exciting prospect to drool over, our next gen of England squad gets better all the time.

Breaking news ahead of tonight's Carling Cup clash with Wolves: Robbie Brady and Ravel Morrison have been handed first team squad numbers. Irish winger Brady has been given no. 37, while attacking midfielder Morrison, from Wythenshawe, has 49.
That was on the 26th October.

Brady still has 37 but Morrison is not listed at all in the first team squad.

What's happened, why does he not have his 49 squad number?

New rumours have surfaced on red issue - got a court date for witness intimidation... supposedly on the verge of being released if he already hasnt. such a shame, but if you do that shit, then you have to pay the consequences...

feck! :nono:Let's hope that's a rumour only.

Manunitedreserves seems to be going off on one on Twitter about Morrison. Wish he'd keep a dignified silence until the actual rumours are confirmed as I can't really see any benefit in drawing more adverse attention to the player.

Link?

man united (manutdreserves) on Twitter

@fmahtar On this occasion yes but he has had so much trouble in the past that he is becoming a real problem

@rileykirn @DoronSalomon Yes maybe, I just hate the thought of United's name being linked with wrong 'un's

@Nesbit99 no one is worth what he has done in the past. No one is bigger than the club

@TheBusbyWay @BigRed_M i fully take your point but im sick of him now and cant understand why he is still at the club given his past

I'm The Busby Way, he wasn't really, he was basically saying that he has previous whilst I was saying it is only a rumour and he is innocent until proven guilty

BTW: Follow me and @ me for a follow back or just @ me if you need something retweeted

Could be finished at United.

Due to be in court soon over witness intimidation.

Real fecking shame considering how talented he is.

All these rumors are based on this post by RI Member.

Let's see if these are rumors are true or not, however I seem to remember the same resurfacing around a month only to be rubbished by Daniel Taylor later.

He is a 17yo kid and has a ton of growing up to do.

I hope we give the kid a chance. We need to support him otherwise he could end up in big trouble.

Could be worthwhile loaning him out to get him away from his mates. This is obviously the problem. A season long loan to Molde would not be the worst thing that could happen.

Spot on.

I was a bit of a trouble when I was younger, went off to uni and the time away and meeting new people was a massive help

He's been suspended and not released, I think.

Still hope for him, although I doubt that he'll improve his attitude.

Yeah i'm seeing on twitter he's been suspended. Gonna be a massive waste of talent at this rate :(

Well if the list of offenses claimed by the itk chap on red issue are true I doubt he'll play for us again, particularly if he goes down, which seems to be quite likely.

PM please.. not on RI
what exactly is he alleged to have done?

Mark Ogden of the Telegraph says United have told him he's not been suspended.

Are we going to have rumours of him being suspended borne out of twitter every few months now?
