Is anybody optimistic about his form & attitude between now and the end of the season? I'm really not convinced.
Absolutely, but for why I cannot fathom. I don’t understand why some people are so personally offended by this lad. It’s bizarre how much hate he gets.it highlights the people with personal grudges against Rashford
Well Mason scored today, nuff said
For what it's worth, I think this has been handled just fine by the club. What he did was out of order, he has been disciplined (probably a fine) and apologised. I'm not sure there's much else to do. Even when he's out of form, he's our best option on the left. However, I do hope he's on his final chance. His attitude has been woeful for long and so have his performances. Someone needs to tell him, "this is your last chance to get your act together and be the best player you can be - if you don't, you'll be shown the door".
It always happens. People with biases against a certain player want blood rather than being reasonable. What the feck are people moaning about? He’s been disciplined which probably means a fine, he has apologised and the issue has been dealt with. Move on to the next match. Some people want him parading through the streets of Manchester shouting shame shame shame. Suppose it highlights the people with personal grudges against Rashford rather than issues around his performance alone.
Sensible post.Only sensible outcome for all parties for the rest of the season. We're in no position to jettison one of our few remaining attacking options, and a lengthy disciplinary issue wouldn't reflect well on Rashford.
So, short term, they have to work together and see out the season. Long term, something has got to be sorted in the summer. His on field body language and performances, and off field antics, suggests either there's a personal / professional issue with Rashford, or there's an issue between him and ETH / the club.
if it's solvable then, fine, address it and hopefully he delivers one of his occasional top quality seasons next year. If it's got to the point where it's not solvable here, then the summers the time for both parties to look for an out.
But, for now, it's good for all concerned if they can reach an understanding that at least gets us through the rest of the season with all sides having some kind of an alliance.
Well for me it's his general "I'm not arsed" attitude on the pitch, any player that consistently doesn't put the effort in when playing is going to offend me. But I definitely don't "hate" him, that's a pretty extreme feeling to be feeling about someone you don't even know personally.Absolutely, but for why I cannot fathom. We pay him Haaland wages to give us Dwight McNeil performances. Is it really that hard to understand? That's before you get into his "face like a slapped arse for an entire season".Absolutely, but for why I cannot fathom. I don’t understand why some people are so personally offended by this lad. You got a source for that?We pay him Haaland wages to give us Dwight McNeil performances. Is it really that hard to understand? That's before you get into his "face like a slapped arse for an entire season".
300k a week to walk about the pitch.Absolutely, but for why I cannot fathom. I don’t understand why some people are so personally offended by this lad. It’s bizarre how much hate he gets.
We pay him more than literally every other player in the league earns bar an arguable 2-3 players. That good enough for you? Sure he probably doesn't earn exactly what Haaland earns. I'm sure Haaland earns insane money when you factor in all the off the books shit City are doing. You got a source for that?
The man just spent £750k on a night out in Belfast. They're jealousAbsolutely, but for why I cannot fathom. I don’t understand why some people are so personally offended by this lad. It’s bizarre how much hate he gets.
We need players with ice in their veinscool, im happy though because Rashford asked consent before scoring with the girl he met in Laverys
Can we have a poll to speculate the punishment?
You’re right It did, he’s gone on loan out of the dressing room. Next step sold.Yeah. It worked well with Sancho !!
The wages given to Marcus is on the club, not him. Nobody forced the club to give him that contract, and you can be sure he’d get it somewhere else if they hadn’t.We pay him Haaland wages to give us Dwight McNeil performances. That would be footballing critique. Not what I was talking about.300k a week to walk about the pitch.
Try the odd attack. Not track back. Hardly ever win a 50/50 aerial/ ground duel.
Never presents himself for a set piece even though he is one of the tallest players.
He never looks happy even after scoring (that one goal ). Must be so boring for him.
Yeah it is bizarre why I'm not happy with him.

Ten Hag apologised and said please don’t get me sackedCan we have a poll to speculate the punishment?
I have no issues with people being unhappy with his performances, that’s part and parcel of the game and being a fan. Folk are absolutely entitled to their opinions.Well for me it's his general "I'm not arsed" attitude on the pitch, any player that consistently doesn't put the effort in when playing is going to offend me. 'i can change, Marcus!'Ten Hag apologised and said please don’t get me sacked
Ok cool. I thought he had a hangover or some shit.I imagine he must have been evidently, genuinely ill, and the responsibility for his actions is accounting for the unprofessional optics at being out in a club in Belfast the night before training in Manchester, with the two things unconnected.
If he had been unable to train because he had been drinking and had a hangover, I highly doubt he’d be training again and available for selection on Thursday. That would not be so readily forgiven.
He was with his agent and another rep today at carrington, you dont need them to talk footballI imagine he must have been evidently, genuinely ill, and the responsibility for his actions is accounting for the unprofessional optics at being out in a club in Belfast the night before training in Manchester, with the two things unconnected.

I think most of us are on less than half per year that he gets a weekIt’s highly likely, that every member of this forum is on less than half of what Rashford is getting - without a single exception

It's his footballing IQ and general seemingly lack of effort that gets the most criticism and rightly so, especially this seasonSince he was 20, he averages 28 GA per season, despite having one season where he only got 7 after coming back from an operation, mainly from left wing. It really is ludicrous to include seasons when he was 17/18 to try and make a bad point.
Honestly, it’s fine not to like his attitude on the pitch, not like the clothes he wears or think he earns too much money. However, the absolute drivel that gets posted on here about his footballing ability is incredible to behold.
We don't need one, we'll find out if he's in the squad on Thursday, if he isn't that means he's been dropped, as a for a fine the maximum allowed is 2 weeks wagesCan we have a poll to speculate the punishment?
Unless we see other better sources substantiating it, I’m not going to stoop to the low of linking tomorrow’s The Sun front page here.
Absolutely gutter press and the Scousers are 100% right on opposing that rag from their city.
It’s The Sun. It’s an absolute toxic rag that does more to poison the mind of large sections of the British public than any other media outlet. Their entire story is based on the account of one person who got paid for an interview.I can see exactly why you don’t want to link it…
