correct, no apology and the club back the playerYes, but what I read was not an apology, it was a justification of his behaviour. Am I wrong? Did I miss something?

He didn't have his PR team with him this time...Should of kept his mouth shut. Acting like the school bully doesn't look well for school dinners.
He has a right to be annoyed as does the fan. It's just a tit for tat.correct, no apology and the club back the player
You’ve well and truly lost your head.Honestly don't care. Rashford isnt guilty of anything that the others aren't. Every single player in this squad has been awful at times this season or in previous ones. Every one of them. Some have for 4 /5 years.
This is clearly about something else now. It's so obvious it hurts.
Yes. I meant the club has already backed the player. So agreed with the behavior.Yes, but what I read was not an apology, it was a justification of his behaviour. Am I wrong? Did I miss something?
True, though giving a fan the middle finger when you are obsessed with your pr image is a stupid thing to do outside OTHe has a right to be annoyed as does the fan. It's just a tit for tat.

T-shirts for RashfordYeah, now our club is failing in simple PR stuff, too...
“Come on Rashford, after that performance” Why the hell posters are calling that an abuse ? Someone please enlighten me. How in God’s name is that an abuse ? And deserve a response like this from Rashford ?
It isn't quite as bad as "feck off". It's basically saying to him, you've served up a shite performance so come and sign my shirt. It's a bit harsh but not that bad. Rashford overeacted he was obviously feeling bad about the result and that was salt in the wound. Is this true? Can somebody else from Manchester confirm this?
Rashford and Greenwood. Both wasting their obvious talents due to off field distractions. Fergie would never have allowed it.
Not nearly as entertaining. He is the new balotelli
Rashford can only dream of being Balotelli. He is the new balotelli
Maybe start looking at the real problem at the club then. Rashford has the most goals of any Utd player since Fergie left. He's not untouchable and has been incredibly poor this season for sure but my word how many others can we say the same about this season and previous ones.
There's a definite agenda.
Morrison was doomed from the start. Greenwood on the other hand was showing signs and SAF would have probably disciplined him much better than our current team didEven Fergie couldn't control everything, as Ravel Morrison reminded us.

Agree, it's disingenuous for the "fan" to claim he was only trying to have a chat and support the team. Bull, fecking, shit. We support the club. The players like Rashford support the club *and* it's their job. He had to have been gutted they'd been knocked out by a pretty poor side, he has to know his form is off, and some "fan" thinks that staying after and having a go at Rashford is justified because he bought a ticket? No.Hecklers deserve everything they get.
"After that performance, go on boys" essentially translates as "feck off you twats" up north. The fan was baiting him for a reaction.
That doesn't excuse Rashford's reaction, though. He's smarter than that and should no better. He's obviously fed up with his poor performances and hit out.
Have you seen his socials? He's been getting dogs abuse for ages. Please wake up.
Also lots of players don't sign autographs especially after getting knocked out of a cup. He wasn't alone in that.
Just seems like he's being targeted for abuse. He only came on a sub too. Won't be long till you're all doing the same to Elanga.

I know lads that were at the game and it was toxic, but Rashford didn't look fecking interested, and didn't look bothered against City either. It doesn't matter if you hate the manager, doesn't matter if you're upset with the other players, whatever else you have to do - people have paid money to watch you play and he simply walked around the pitch and has done for a few months now. Yeah alright, you have to support the players and team and you can't really expect them to respond to abuse - and there's plenty of morons around. But Rashfords not helping himself by not even making an effort in the games he's getting subbed into. Whether that's because he feels he's too good to be a substitute doesn't matter, the fans see it out there on the pitch. It's a LOT more noticeable when you're at the games who runs and who doesn't (and why you get some matchgoing fans rating certain players way higher than you see on Redcafe - I will die on the Brandon Williams hill mainly because every time I've seen him play, he's bust his guts out all game)Agree, it's disingenuous for the "fan" to claim he was only trying to have a chat and support the team. Balotelli, the man, the mystery!Rashford can only dream of being Balotelli.
Getting stuck with his bib, sets fireworks in house, carrying around 5000 pounds in cash, driving into a women's prison unannounced because he was curious that a prison could be exclusively for women
When are you arranging for the Greenwood T-shirts to be printed?Seriously? He's a prick for calling out somebody abusing him? Hahahaha. If you give it out then take it back when these players react. That's called life.
What have you done in your life mate out of interest? Absolutely nothing I bet.
We support our players in public. We don't throw them under the bus.
And here it comes
