Yes, but only if we can get two midfielders. If we're only getting in a DM, I'd rather keep Pogba.Wondering what others think about this on cafe, Better we move on from Pogba?

Is it the sell on when they bought him from Lens? Can someone explain this solidarity fee to me?
Well the £44m was a typo, meant £42m. It’s reported as £34m with £8m as addons (which will surely be worthwhile, should we ever get to the point of triggering them).
But my point is, UK media will often report the Euro price as the GBP price, without converting. £42m is around €50m. Already some UK news outlets are reporting £50m. They’ve taken the Euro price and slapped the pound symbol in front of it.
Add ons shouldn’t even be mentioned in the transfer fee total, but with United they always are. Our transfer fees already end up being inflated by the media. These deals are just too complex to be broken down like this.

It says the total fee could raise up to 50m pounds. Which is wrong. It could rise up to 50m Euros. The BBC are saying £34m
What weird websites are you looking at ffs?

Yeah not worth taking note of those Ihni binni dimi diniwiny anitaime.Amazing how on Twitter some are now saying he’s not even top 20 CB in the world… that’s how you know are rival fans are hating on us and wishing it was their club signing him.
Now the report is a total of £42milBBC saying £34m with addons

learnt a lot from this. Thanks. This season, he
It's £34m with add-ons (£42.7m in total, which is 50 Euros in total)£34 million going up to 50 with add-ons. What a deal. Well done to whoever negotiated this.
I can't not read this in David Brent's voice.Yeah, well what do expect from the media. They wouldn't know a good source even if they were in a condiments factory. (word play)
Agreement reached tonight between Manchester United and Real Madrid for a transfer of Raphael Varane of around 50M € ! As announced by The Atletic, contract 4 years + 1 year optional. The player must respect a quarantine to return to England. VM at the start of the week
Does VM stand for virtual medical? Surely not
Oh okay cheersNo Varane Medical
So I'm guessing you're one of the mindless on here happy to give Pogba £350k?
If so, don't ever have kids.
Can't help thinking that, if the club are splashing out on Sancho, Varane and Trippier (if that turns out to be correct), then they're pretty confident that Pogba is on his way and they can offset some of the outlay (plus some small change if a couple of other players move on).Wondering what others think about this on cafe, Better we move on from Pogba?
Remember these fees aren’t apparently upfront. It’s over the 5 years of their contracts for both Sancho and Varane. So we still have money to spend and we don’t need Pogba to leave to offset the finances. Can't help thinking that, if the club are splashing out on Sancho, Varane and Trippier (if that turns out to be correct), then they're pretty confident that Pogba is on his way and they can offset some of the outlay (plus some small change if a couple of other players move on).
I would be really happy for Pogba to stay if he really wants to stay, but if he's blowing hot and cold and we're going to see a continuing saga of how we use him, is he being played in the right position, should he or shouldn't he be better defensively, and so on, then I think it's time to draw a line and accept that he's a consequence of Mourinho's practice of throwing money at big name players then figuring out how they fit, and not taking account of the wider effect on the team.
As far as Varane is concerned, definitely a good signing and someone we've looked at since his early days at Real I think.

Just to improve the dressing room mindset.we don’t need Pogba to leave to offset the finances.
