Just curious, wouldn't it be great to have an Android application for the Caf? A responsive web browser is great, but a separate application for the mobile phones, with a more appropriate and convenient logging system, alert notifications, score updates, lineup reminders, message system, podcast integration, reading schemes, image upload system, calendar integration and so on be pretty cool?

yes, you write the code. go.

@Niall Youtube videos in the mobile version are shown as normal images. Play button doesn't show up until you click the image. Is there a fix for this?

This is intentional otherwise pages with multiple videos get slowed down loading the youtube player. It's been this way for quite a while now.

Can we allow timestamps in embedded YouTube links? It's quite useful for just showing snippets of something without telling people to manually skip to a certain point.

It's this bolded bit in the URL:

Here's an example Xenforo plugin that fulfills the feature. It's unmaintained but the YouTube API rarely changes in this regard.

Yeah when it's always a bit of a pain for others when you have to click the link rather than just click the video on the forum. This would be nice idea to implement.

Would it be possible to view replies to a post, from a post? I'm shite at explaining things but I mean like quick-links or something. Maybe a little number next to the post indicating how many replies it's had, clicking it for a drop down menu of who has replied (with links to the replies) from there, with the option to click them to view the full post. It's something that keeps popping up in my mind when I read through the forum, especially with controversial posts. For example if someone says Vardy is better than Messi I'd find it interesting to read the replies to that and think this would come in handy in that type of circumstance.

Maybe it's a weird suggestion I dunno.

Would a save option be possible like on Reddit? Just for any funny or informative posts you see here, it would be nice if you could put them all in one place and find them easily.

A tab that reveals only Manchester United related news including transfers/player performance/match day would be nice. Maybe i'm just a lazy arse though.

One day thread marks on post-game threads? To see if people have changed their position after calming down from the game?

If I'm in a thread and I want to see who's posted in it and how many times, how do I do it? I know that before going in the thread I can click on the total number of posts but if I'm in the thread I can't see an option to. It's not a big feature and not that often used, but it'd be helpful.

Also maybe a "my posts in this thread" button would be good, although it'd be covered by the above suggestion.

Yeah, that's why the Forum page is redundant. The online users segment is duplicated in both. All forum page has is online mods and the share segment extra. They can just be combined into the home page.

Also has the forum statistics and all the stuff in the black bar. Combining both would be a bit of a nightmare for mobile users as the sidebar on matchdays would just take up too much space.

This feature was added to the add-on and I've upgraded it. You can now see who replied when in a thread via the 'Thread Tools' menu at the top of every thread page.

Only a small add-on, but that's awesome @Niall. Cheers.

@Niall Not sure if this has been suggested, but it would be great if we can save posts.

I think the main forum could do with a purge. Can't understand how a lot of these kids got out of the newbies.

Would it be possible to add the translations to the transfer tweets secion? Sounds like a lot of work for the mods but maybe with a [translate] tag or something it could be done, I dunno. Half the tweets are in another language

Yeah that is problematic. Nice idea about tagging them somehow, I'll have a think about it and see what can be done.

Or we just outright ban foreign language tweets :)

to clarify, I meant like adding the translated text into the tag, not the tag translating it for you.
