Clicking on the thread title brings you to the first unread post too. Assuming you've visited the thread in the last month or so. But that's the same for the blue dot I think.

It is really frustrating when you have a PM which you dont want to read like the streaming convo, and you have to click on it just for it the notification to go away. There should be a "read" button.

A 'I don't want to receive alerts for this conversation' feature would be nice. It's on my list but not sure when I'll get to it.

Is there any way you can add the post number to a quoted post? That way if you're flicking through a section of the forum and notice an interesting conversation you can easily find the previous posts ( not sure if that makes sense to be fair)

Click the upward arrow on the quote (next to "Getsme said:" in this post) and it'll take you to the post in question.

How did I not know this, so much time wasted
Cheers.

It would be great if whoever makes threads for things like press conferences would pin any videos / tweets / other snippets in the opening post instead of scrolling through pages and pages trying to work out what was said one tweet at a time. Not sure how viable that is but it would certainly solve a major bugbear of mine.

Except that might move them out of context if they are related to conversation within the thread. I think using threadmarks would be better, so they're simple to find but still located in the appropriate position within a thread.

Feck, that's awesome. XenForo does hide its light under a bushel at times.

Stickied OP:

I saw in a couple of other forums I was trawling, that they had the OP stickied on top of the page, so even when you click any other page, the OP is always the first post on top. Also shaded in a slightly different color for differentiation purposes.

Thought this was a good idea, as I know many just read thread titles and reply if there are more than 3-4 pages of replies already.

Thanks for the suggestions @Raptori.

The lineup predictions one is definitely going to happen once I have time.

I'll have a think about #2 and get back to you.

Any chance of having a "go to top of page" or/and "go to home (i .e. to redcafe.net)" link at the bottom of the pages within threads?

Cheers.

Been moaning about it forever, but I'd still like a quicker way to get to the latest page of a match day thread from my phone. At the moment I have to go to the match day section, then click "go to match thread" and then finally click on the last page of the thread.

Very bottom right hand side of site. Says "Top" just above Terms and Rules

There's a top of the page link at the bottom of every page, next to the RSS icon.

Not on the mobile version of the caf though. This is really really annoying and hope it can be looked into. I know there is a "quick navigation" thing, but again, it would be much better to have a "scroll to top" thingy AND a direct link to the homepage. Link to homepage (at the bottom) is missing on the mobile version as well.

Is there any support coming for animated pictures other than gif? ie webm, gifv. Ie being able to post it as a media or image, rather than a url.

Wanted to say that as well. I thought it was just my phone.

It'd be nice to also how a player stat which would show the number of times they have won man of the match.

edit: Nevermind. I see it's just one click away.

I know there's a feature to ignore particular forums on xenforo, can we get that here? I had it to up here with the other sports forum!

I really like the player rating stuff on this forum.

It would be nice if the system could also include the manager. Give him a score out of ten for each match as you do with the players. Wonder what his average would be for this season.

Manager would get a high score when we win and a low score when we lose, therefore, in theory it would be a good idea in reality it's kinda pointless.

Maybe. I would like to see it tried just for a season or something. Speaking for myself there have been games we lost where I would have given Van Gaal a good score (PSV) and games we have won where I would have given him a low score (Southampton).
