The more I think about it, the more I’m excited about the appointment of RR to the job. No guarantees, but I see us turning a corner and scaring top clubs.
Never signed Neuer, never even gave him a single appearance.
Never signed Haaland, didn’t even manage him.
Alaba was only a loan.
Smith Rowe was only a loan and he played him for under 40 minutes the entire time, it was a terrible signing.
You know you’re stretching when you have to claim those.
According to The Mirror…Can he bring us Haaland?
McDonnell is as useless as Custis. If he turns out to be right, it was a lucky guess.Waiting to hear from Ducker, Stone, Luckhurst or Mitten on whether his first game is likely to be Arsenal or if McDonnell is right and will be Palace

I am no expert. I read the whole thread and here is some info.
Apologies for mistakes. I'm sure there are. As I said a lot of this is stuff I've learnt from this thread.
- Managed Ulm and took them from 2nd division to 5th place in Bundesliga
- Runners up with Schalke after that.
- Took Hoffenheim from 3rd division to 7th in Bundesliga in consecutive seasons
- Took over Red Bull footballing structure, revamped and has established RB Salzburg and Leipzig as elite clubs
- This one was interesting for me, one of the seasons at RB Leipzig, he took over from Hassenhuttl after he left and improved their defense next season with GA going from 50s to 20s.
- A lot of coaches got their breaks or were influenced by him, including Tuchel, Nagelsman, Rose, Adi Hutter, Jessie Marsch and am sure am missing others.
Have Lokomotiv approved it yet
Hopefully otherwise it would be hilarious to see this fall apartYeah pretty sure they have and just a matter of club announcing officially. I reckon that should happen early next week

Got myself familiar with this guy in the past few days by listening to bunch of pundits talking about this man. My prediction is that he will fail in the similar fashion as Moyes. He will try to implement his plan, players are going to resent him and all will go to sh1t. Some fans will defend him and explain he will need more time, others will crucify him and mention how he never had any success at big clubs.
I am not questioning that this guy is smart, organized and obviously very well respected by both Klopp, Tuchel and other football people. I think Manchester United as an organization is not ready for this guy. I think too many of our players do not fit this guy's vision of how football should look like according to him. He likes young, fast players. We got few. Will they fall in line or cry their way out of the club? I am a pessimist about this guy as an interim coach, but I am somewhat optimistic about the next coach IF this guy survives 6 months. All it takes for things to get ugly is to get knocked out of UCL by a lesser team and 3-4 bad results in EPL in a row. We have shown that we are capable of that under every single coach before RR and after sir Alex.
I hope I am wrong.

and fan will side with these player all the time over the manager.
Is he any good!?! big clubs aren’t after him!
*shows big clubs are after him*
Yeah but many top clubs have been after Mourinho, Sven Goran Erikson though? In and of itself it’s not a guarantee of success. *moves goal posts*
You're going to announce this before the game today, to give the players a lift aren't you, you cheeky bastards.
Who moved the goal posts? Certainly not me as it’s my only post on the subject and it was a valid one, which you have sidestepped answering by mentioning something another poster said!
If we are playing well by half-time, Rangnick will appear on the stands, at the same time when we dish out the official announcement on social media. You're going to announce this before the game today, to give the players a lift aren't you, you cheeky bastards.
He didn't move goal posts, you just didn't read the conversation. If you read it, you will see why he posted the video.
I didn’t suggest anyone moved the goal posts, maybe it’s you who should re-read the conversation!
This is a 60 page discussion, it’s easy to look back and find where discussions went off at tangents. It’s normal, happens all the time, and simply pointing it out instead of addressing the point looks like avoidance to me.
An interesting comment: if Liverpool Chelsea are going this way and we are following, are we following to the toilet?media
fecking hell, at least read the post he quoted instead of coming up with usual "what about Jose, everyone wanted him".
@UnitedSofa even gave the context.

I can only see Pogba and Martial not fitting into this gegenpress so I don’t know what you’re talking about . He's definitely managed Neuer; he might not have signed him, but he was Shalke's manager when we played them in the CL in 2011, in which Neuer played and was linked with a move here almost immediately after.Never signed Neuer, never even gave him a single appearance.
Never signed Haaland, didn’t even manage him.

Is he though? His credentials (or lack of) don't exactly inspire much in the way of confidence. It's not like the top clubs in Europe are lining up to bring him in.
I know very little about the guy admittedly, maybe he's the second coming or something like many in this thread believe. Who knows.
I'd be a lot happier with Ten Hag or even Poch in the summer.
Chelsea. Arsenal. Spurs all have been after him in the past
All been after him in the same way that many top clubs have been after Mourinho, Sven Goran Erikson though? In and of itself it’s not a guarantee of success.

I read the post he quoted, thanks. And I responded to his post. That’s how these long threads work. If someone had posted a thread purely about people wrongly thinking Rangnick has never been coveted by top clubs then you’d have a valid point. But they didn’t, and so you don’t.
Is he though? His credentials (or lack of) don't exactly inspire much in the way of confidence. It's not like the top clubs in Europe are lining up to bring him in.
Dragging it out as usual. Why can't united move quickly about things like other clubs. Why no announcement yet?
