Yeah I agree, he put in a lot of hard work down the right. The 3rd goal was so sloppy though, put it down to inexperiance.

I think the whole team switched off because of the free kick confusion with Young asking for the ball back.
It was obvious he wasn't aware there was a player behind him. He only reacted once the player went past him. Bad mistake, but Anderson walking in the middle of the penalty area when he could also have reacted and could see the full picture was just as bad IMO.
I do not understand how he looks one way but not the other (I think Munian was maybe in a blind spot?). He'll learn from it though, he's going to get some bollocking for that.

The 3rd goal was just a one-off feck up, it's some of the other stuff he does that's still worrying...really poor positional play to allow Llorente (I think) to beat the offside trap and burst through for a one-on-one fairly early on in the game. I still find it hard to understand why his defensive deficiencies are so easily overlooked or why the criticisms are so easily laughed off, personally.
He'll be not in the starting XI against West Bromwich.

Overall I thought he was among our better players out there. He really carried the fight with his speed on the counter attack. A few positional errors were a bit worrying but otherwise his selection was justified. Switching off for their 3rd goal was a criminal mistake though and that will obviously taint his performance. What happened to safety first there?
I've been hammered for giving Rafael stick on here. I keep saying he's a liability right now. Not saying he wont improve, and if he does he (and hopefully Fabio) could be our full back for years to come. Right now though, plain scary for me
