Kroos , jay rod and now falcao !
Must mean they've got a buyer for di Maria
Remember when MUTV showed a pre World Cup friendly between the Netherlands and Ecuador? They billed it as watch Antonio take on Robin or something like that. Bill it as watch United's new number 9 or something. It won't happen though. Is the Brazil vs Colombia game on UK TV?

That's the one! Love it. I seem to have been about a day late on the uptake but I can't get the thing out of my head! Class.
yeah, I remember buying him in fifa and sold him after season just because I thought he didnt fit to Manchester United and would be the last player to come to us. I was wrongStill can't believe we've signed Radamel Falcao
Just surreal.

Still hasn't hit me quite yet that we just got Radamel fecking Falcao! Can't wait to see him play next week and for his jersey to arrive in the mail.
The funny thing is I keep forgetting about the five other signingsAll these and more - I still can't believe we've signed Falcao Lord in heaven - Falcao is a Manchester United player! Seems so incredibly crazy, and just when we were getting used to di Maria joining as well
El Confidencial is a Spanish broadsheet newspaper but they often come up with some fairly speculative and outlandish claims.
But, if we have learnt one thing from this summer’s transfer window, it is that super agent Jorge Mendes is arguably the most important man in European football.
On Thursday, El Confidencial claim that Manchester United were able to sign Radamel Falcao as a consequence of Angel Di Maria’s farewell letter to Real Madrid after the Argentine signed on at Old Trafford.
After joining Manchester United from Real Madrid, Angel Di Maria wrote a farewell letter to Los Blancos fans where he effectively blamed the club for his departure, in Spanish newspaper Marca.
Real Madrid president Florentino Perez did not understand why Di Maria had written this letter and was annoyed that his agent Jorge Mendes had allowed this to occur.
Mendes is of course also Radamel Falcao’s agent and the Colombian striker was heavily linked with Real Madrid during July and August.
Falcao was desperate to join Real Madrid and El Confidencial report that this move broke down due to Angel Di Maria’s farewell letter.
The Los Blancos hierarchy did not understand why Di Maria had this letter published in Marca, when Mendes represents Cristiano Ronaldo, Pepe and Fabio Coentrao – three key players at the Bernabeu.
As a result, and as a matter of principle, Real Madrid allowed Radamel Falcao to join Manchester United and signed Javier Hernandez instead.
Undoubtedly, the big winners of the Jorge Mendes spat with Real Madrid are Manchester United who have signed two world class players.
And, the latest rumblings from Cristiano Ronaldo, who has questioned Real Madrid’s summer recruitment policy and publicly declared his desire to return to Manchester United, are believed to be linked.
Worth checking out I reckon. Some stunning skills in these 20 goals.
Is the Brazil vs Colombia game on UK TV?
He already has a few for Monaco this season doesn't he?I really need to see this game.
As others have said it's all a bit surreal which - combined with the recent knee reconstruction - means it's all too easy to start worrying if he'll never be the player he was in an Atletico shirt. I mean we couldn't have just signed that Radamel Falcao, could we?
Just need to see him bang in a goal or two (for anyone, against anyone) and it will all seem much more tangible.

It's all to do with the 3rd party ownership getting their payoff. Can anyone understand what made him go to Monaco? Seemed a step backwards to me in a league that was below his talent.
Atletico needed the money and there were some third party ownership issues. Only Monaco were willing to pay the amounts required. Obviously money was the major factor and everyone involved made a shit load of it, except Monaco. Can anyone understand what made him go to Monaco? I know what you mean, I've watched the videos of him from the games he has played since he returned and he looks to move exactly the same as he did at Atletico, but I want to see him play a full 90 minutes myself to get a better feel for where he's at, I am praying he bags a couple on his debut, if he gets off the mark against QPR I think he'll be amazing for us.
Ruud van Falcao. His style really reminds me of that Great Dutchman.Worth checking out I reckon. Some stunning skills in these 20 goals.

I think I remember doing some digging years ago about United strikers and scoring on their debut. Basically, all our best strikers have done so and those who don't rarely turn out a success.
I think Hernandez and Diouf might have bucked the trend, sadly
