Feck deserving it: we need it badly, however it comes about.Should settle a few people down.
If we can't see of a max of 2 wins from Chelsea & Fulham at home and Bournie away, we don't deserve it anyway.

Wish Leicester would do something unexpected and beat Liverpool... sigh
I think we need 72 points assuming Pool wins all their remaining matches. So we need to have 2 wins and a draw..
Leicester is exactly the sort of match Liverpool love. They will roll them over by four or five. I’m not even trying to jinx them it’s just a fact.Wish Leicester would do something unexpected and beat Liverpool... sigh

Just need 2 wins and it's done. We can lose one but draws do sod all for us, so basically have to go for it.Wish Leicester would do something unexpected and beat Liverpool... sigh

They have the big benefit of having a better GD than Pool which we don’t.Newcastle draw is not a good result. They also have to win 2 of their remaining 3. Next is Brighton for them and end the season at Chelsea
We had about three games in hand though. You’d be right if it was true.
They were in 4th ahead of Newcastle in March in game week 27. They were only 3 points behind 4th as recent as 5 match weeks ago.
They’ve completely capitulated after being strong candidates for top 4.
Of course! 6 more points....Just need 2 wins and it's done. We can lose one but draws do sod all for us, so basically have to go for it.
That's the spirit! Leicester surely will need to fight like hell if they don't want to be relegated.Guys, relax... Les-tah are getting something against the dippers. I guarantee it.

They have a better GD than Pool though. They only need a win and 2 draws.Absolutely massive win today. I genuinely think it was over if we dropped points.
It's looking more and more likely that it will be us and Liverpool - I can definitely see Newcastle dropping out now, their fixtures are tougher than ours.

They won't. They've been quite lucky in their run of victories, they haven't been playing great at all.I have this gut feeling that they won't take 9/9 points in their last 3 games.
Who will they slip up against in your view?Liverpool won't win all their remaining games.
No we didn’t. Match week 30. They were 3 points behind us. Both having played the same amount of games. We had about three games in hand though.
Once again, you’d be right if it was true. You’ve completely forgot or (ignored) the fact spurs played Newcastle and got tonked by them. Spurs did have it in their own hands. So yeah back to my original point….spurs really have messed it up. And the only point you made was they haven’t been in it since October which you plucked out of thin air. You'd be right if it was true.
Spurs were 1 point ahead of Newcastle while Newcastle had 1 game in hand after game week 27.
Meaning Spurs didn't have top 4 "in their own hands", which is the only point I made.

Good to see Villa get back some winning momentum today going into the Liverpool game.Villa for them next week isnt it?

Fair play. Spurs were well and truly in with a shout until they lost 4 out of their last 6 premier league games. In particular folding against Bournemouth at home, Liverpool, Newcastle and drawing against us in those last 6 games. They just completely bottled it.Forgot about that.
I stand corrected.
They won't. They've been quite lucky in their run of victories, they haven't been playing great at all.
I’m quietly confident /hoping Leicester can at least get a draw Monday.Good to see Villa get back some winning momentum today going into the Liverpool game.
I still can't shake the feeling one of us or Newcastle is bottling this and Liverpool win 3/3.
