So what do you reckon? Without being too depressing or cynical, I've put in 2-1 for QPR. If I was betting today that's what I'd put in for the odd

No he's a goalscorer who just so happens to play in midfield.

He contributes very little bar one or two passes a game in central midfield. All he does is pass the ball backwards and sidewards and the odd Hollywood ball. He slows down play way too often too. He's a great and versatile player and this is probably one of the reasons why LvG plays him in midfield but he's just average there. It's blatant he isn't a midfielder, fair play, he does score goals but he offers little to nothing in midfield apart from that.

I've got a novel idea. How about playing a midfielder in midfield?

His record from midfield this season is good obviously and while thats true about rooneys play, its as creative as any of our other players from midfield other than di maria in our first few matches

Wasn't Herrera one of the best players in the 4-0 at OT. I bet QPR are actually glad he isn't playing as he gave them the run around. Of course Rafael played on that side with him as well.
