Charles will still have enough support for the monarchy to carry on I imagine. Maybe though we'll see a bit more modernisation and I'm sure some changes will be invoked too, of some sort.

But whether I agree with the monarchy or not. Universally she's always been recognised by her peers as being a warm and kind lady. No doubt there probably are bad things she's done too.

My opinions and views aside though, I know she was held dearly by many of my neighbours and thus feel her death should be respected, for those who loved her, if not for ourselves.


Side note - I had an argument with my gf over it because I said I wasn't particularly bothered by the death and don't agree with monarchies. And most importantly I was worried football would be cancelled and that an upcoming trip to London may also end up clashing with some royalty shite which I cba with it.
She holds the Queen a bit more dearly than me though and don't think she likes that it's like water of a ducks back for me.
So again I respect that she's dead and send my condolences as she was quite endearing. But as someone who's not invested in the monarchy, I'm not particularly bothered.

Wow so Hansi got banned for that post? All the shit that's written about countries, religions and races and a post insulting the monarchy results in a ban. English nationalism at it's best.

Hansi thought it was the funniest thing ever when we appointed Rangnick and even though he was obviously right in the end I still resent him for it so.. good riddance.
 
From the outisde she seemed a very nice woman and have full sympathy for her family.

But she's lived a very long life, a privileged and luxurious one too, I don't see why a random stranger would be shedding tears over it. People shouldn't also be obliged to like her either.

If you have strong feelings against a person or in this case a monarchy and you have a valid reason I see no,issue with it

Would you be ok if Donald Trump croaked and people said same?

it's the Queen though, people were always going to react this way because people hate the monarchy..

if you don't like it I would advise avoiding the internet for the next couple of weeks

You were well within your right to not like what they said, a lot of people have strong feelings about the monarchy positive and negative. But tagging the admin and asking for him to be banned wasn't cool

She definitely had privilege and luxury. But I wonder if she was happy. She did her job well, and saw it through to the end. Deserves respect.
