Pachter talks about as much sense as you do. Basically a clueless knobhead.
Are you broken or something?

don't think so? Demand is still insane for the PS5.Consoles must be close to the point it isn't worth scalpers getting them anymore?
The lack of self awareness after only being able to say "you've no games" for 12 monthsThe XBox lads are incredibly cringe...

Odd to see the CEO of Microsoft talking about sales when it’s something they’re not bothered about eh @Alock1
The most remarkable thing about that tweet for me is that the Xbox One outsold the 360 in the same timeframe. I remember the 360 as a console that did really well early on in the gen, and at a time when it basically didn't have any competition either. The Xbox One was a PR disaster at launch and had to deal with the PS4, how on earth did it outsell the 360? Sure, increasing market and all, but I'm still surprised at that.
I didn't realize. I bought one pretty early on, like a couple months after launch (so within the timeframe in question here) and it was widely available. It was the only next-gen console available at the time and, being a Playstation gamer, I thought I'd hold out for the PS3, but when the Oblivion trailers hit I just couldn't resist. I imagine there must've been many like me.Xbox 360 was supply constrained. Not as bad as the Series X but it was. Xbox One obviously benefitted early from a ton of loyal customers but didn't have a long tail as it lost share back to PlayStation and wasn't able to attract newcomers.
The early sales don't mean much. Xbox and PS are both selling all the stock they have. It's longer term that'll be telling.
XBox early adopters are notoriously fanatical.... I mean, take @Bojan11 and @VeevaVee for example. Predictably strong start, but obviously not strong enough. The most remarkable thing about that tweet for me is that the Xbox One outsold the 360 in the same timeframe. What were your thoughts on ciderman?
Damnnnn! By the time MS get around to releasing their heavy hitters Sony will probably be out of sight. What's the issue XBox struggling with chip shortages or just...?
Yet you lot value gamepass subscriber numbers…..It’s crazy how much you guys value these sales figures that mean absolutely nothing. But when that’s all you’ve got left that’s all you’ve got left

No one else takes this as seriously as you guys.
Yeah sales mean absolutely nothing you absolute basket case.
Great post. They'll just keep repeating "hurr durr look how many things the big company sold" as if it means anything to anyone other than the Sony finance department.Au contraire. Have you seen the proliferation of superhero movies recently? High sales translates to atrophy as companies desperately seek to ring out as much water they can from the popularity of existing trends.
I'd much sooner be on the side of the company experimenting with their products, providing dizzying value as they desperately seek to get people on board the boat.
And then once the boat is full, I jump off to swim freely in the clear blue waters, adventuring to find my next island paradise.
Well if you like, we can go back to games, and MS lack of...?Great post. They'll just keep repeating "hurr durr look how many things the big company sold" as if it means anything to anyone other than the Sony finance department.
You've got people complaining about nothing to play in your own thread mate. Get a grip of reality. Meanwhile we're all here with full hard drives and too much to play.Well if you like, we can go back to games, and MS lack of...?
Or metacritic scores...?
What about innovative features...?
I'm bored...
What games do you have on your hard drive? On mine I have some truly sensational games and I've got plenty to play, can't speak for others.
