You only have to consider the general responses about Bethesda from people who have posted more times about Elder Scrolls and Fallout on here than United to know what he means
Is that a rule now? I mean if you look at both sides here, you won't find much joy.
The football forums have been trash for many years now, and thanks to awarding people who know feck all about what they are talking about (ironically one of the reasons the newbie forums were set up for in the first place), the gaming threads are becoming exactly the same.
There's going to be no winners if it comes down to this place and who talks games against who talks football. Both are going to the lowest rung.
I really don't see how that makes sense. Dolby is pushing both technologies as standards in audio and video. Limiting access to a technology is not exactly how you go about establishing a standard.
That's not what matters. Money does. Which is why it's so laughable this whole idea of picking one giant company spending ridiculous money over another, yet here we are
There's 0 chance of a Prey sequel or anything given that the game director has since left Arkane.
Overall I don't disagree with the idea that Xbox is closing the gap recently. There literally wasn't a single point at which I wanted an Xbone, but I could see myself getting a Series X at some point down the line, probably when that Obsidian skyrim-looking game releases.
I like the gamepass (on Xbox, NOT PC), I have both that on Xbox and EA play on PC. Yet I've spoken out against both over the years and will continue to do so.
It's because it's about sign ups and where that leads. People talk shit on those who argue and complain via social media and what not, but it still doesn't change the fact that we should be constantly watching what they do and what we pay for. The few examples where word of mouth actually changed plans matter big time, ask EA for example.
But let's not let the same old hype get us carried away eh? After all, think about it and look back at all the fuss around the last 2 console launches...MS were always adamant that they had the new gaming future one way or the other it was always promises and yet no delivery. Sony have continued to act like they are for gamers, yet they have gone full Nintendo with restricting developers/publishers with what they can do, including delaying certification and of course denying crossplay. We are literally picking one corp over another.
At the end of the day it's about the games. And once again, as expected, the PS5 is already ahead with the games whilst the S/X are still all talk. But I'll say again, as I've said before, that I think the X is a brilliantly built machine. But what amazes me about these machines, is that they BOTH still have shit UI and issues they shouldn't have, which people seem to overlook simply because they are used to those particular ecosystems I guess.
