I'm struggling to make sense of that sentence tbh KK.
I was wondering why Heavy Rain trophies were not unlocking for me, perhaps this is it.
Good deducing there.
If you’re trying to get onto PlayStation Network as of right now, sorry, it’s down. Many users of PSN have confirmed that the network is currently unavailable, with them receiving a 8001050F error message. That’s not all, many more issues have appeared, leaving PlayStation Network users are less than thrilled, voicing their frustration on forums around the ‘net.
The date on your PSN clock has also apparently changed as well, to December 31st. The time has also been mixed up as well. This is probably due to the fact that there is no network access whatsoever. Users have also reported that games are not working, because trophy access is unresponsive. If you try to play a PS3 or PSN title, the game will give you this message:
Registration of the trophy information could not be completed.
The game will quit.

Purchased PSN titles are not working as well, and some are reporting of copyright issues. Demos however, are working fine.
We’ll bring you more on this network error as soon as more news hits.
No doubt Weaste will turn a convienient blind eye to this.
A blind eye to what? Has Live never had problems?
Ah let it die, FP. Everyone - even you - knows that the 360 is an inferior console. It gets tiresome.
Nope
Xbox Live having trouble. Again. On Christmas day.

We hear a lot of people are having problems with Xbox Live today (we're not, for the record), but if you're feeling a bit sheepish about giving the gift of a 360 + Live service to a loved one, just imagine how Microsoft must feel. The service -- which we'd like to remind everyone is paid, unlike the competition's -- has been up and down since Christmas weekend. And it's not some surprise that there would be an influx of users today, nor is it any mystery to Microsoft how many Live accounts and Xboxes were sold over the past couple of weeks -- which is precisely why this kind of thing is so annoying. Thankfully, it seems to be a bit less widespread than last weekend's outage. Feel free to shout it out in comments.
Reading through forums, it's not happening to the slim PS3's. It isn't localized either, reports coming in from Asia, Australia, The States and all over Europe.

Of course but people like Weaste seem to think the PS3 is faultless which isnt the case
I am pretty sure someone is phoning weaste right now to make him aware of the situation, and he will probably bang his head in excitement like that bloke at the beginning of Independance Day.
I really want to watch Independence Day now!
I expected more from you Olly.
