Good luck to all tomorrow let’s keep this going.
Exactly. Even if you don't think protests can work, I dont see how any real fan wouldn't applaud people trying.

There’s about four different treads for this though, could do with the mods pinning one tread and make it the main one going forward.Just 10 pages. Whilst the De Jong thread is still going strong even though we have already signed Casemiro. Shows exactly why we are in this mess with the owners.

It seems the groups that are actually going to be there tomorrow night are organizing anti Glazer marches again rather than trying to get the game cancelled or boycotting the match which is being pushed on twitter.I feel like this is what the protesters (or a section of them) want, it’s how far they will go to force it. You can bet that the police and security will be spoiling for a fight this time. Hope it goes off peacefully but I’m not that optimistic

Bingo. It seems the groups that are actually going to be there tomorrow night are organizing anti Glazer marches again rather than trying to get the game cancelled or boycotting the match which is being pushed on twitter.
It just divides the fanbase even more. I already know what twitter will be like tomorrow when the stadium is full for kick off.Bingo.
As I mentioned earlier, I’m fairly certain these narratives are being pushed online in an attempt to make whatever occurs appear to be a damp squib.
Will Glazers try and keep the fans sweet tomorrow and news comes out we agreed €100 million on Antony after the Casimero deal. Be €170 million spent in a week on 2 players?
Absolutely. It’s exactly the kind of thing I’d do if I were in their shoes, to be honest. It just divides the fanbase even more. I already know what twitter will be like tomorrow when the stadium is full for kick off.
Who does that keep sweet exactly? Will Glazers try and keep the fans sweet tomorrow and news comes out we agreed €100 million on Antony after the Casimero deal. Be €170 million spent in a week on 2 players?
That'll be a fecking disaster. Unveil a player before we get tonked 5-0 at home by our arch rivals. I'd send him on a submarine trip somewhereThey are unveiling Casemiro at Old Trafford tomorrow to try and take some of the edge away from the protests. Hopefully he gets a warm reception and then back to chanting Glazers Out for 90 minutes!

I fear the Glazers will have won. The majority of this fan base appears to be appeased and disinterested in the long term well-being of this club. I applauded all the protestors - especially the ones that have been going regularly, but unfortunately the protests have to be large, loud and sustained, and gathering enough people to do that for multiple games is very very hard. They are unveiling Casemiro at Old Trafford tomorrow to try and take some of the edge away from the protests.
It seems you don't understand much about it, so why post?I am no fan of the Glazers, most certainly not.
But I note in the leaflet above, these words, "An ownership that is systematically starving and killing the greatest football institution in world football, for greed".
Sure they are killing it. But starving it? And for greed? How can anyone claim they've starved United when you have spent more money on transfers in the last 10 years than any other club in the world? You sit at the very top, having spent more than anyone else. How is that "starving" you exactly?
Seems to me the reason to get rid of them is just sheer incompetence, not financial starvation. They are either hands-on, and accountable for the many mistakes and serial underperformance. Or they are hands off, but have appointed the wrong people and not fired them soon enough. In which case they are also accountable. Any which way, IMO fault for your predicament lies with the Glazers. But you cannot accuse them of starving the club. Just accuse them of being utterly useless.
(And yes, I know the Glazers have not been funding your spending with their own cash reserves - it's all United's money that's been spent, but nevertheless they have allowed you to spend it.)
It will be much more sad to watch the actual performance yet I do it every week. I wouldn’t call it entertainment either. How sad you must be.
Same here. All the best to those who care enough about this club.Believe me when i say that I would join those to protest if I could but I'm in another country.
Best wishes to all going to make our collective voices heard
That is true for anyone to see. We have spent truck loads but the Glazers have neglected the club's ambitions to be in and amongst the elite in Europe. They've allowed the spending with reckless abandon to continue while the club suffered on the pitch.I am no fan of the Glazers, most certainly not.

From what I’ve been told, they’re going all out to get it postponed. Trying to stop the team buses getting there, blocking the away turnstiles and, if the match actually starts, attempts at pitch invasionsIt seems the groups that are actually going to be there tomorrow night are organizing anti Glazer marches again rather than trying to get the game cancelled or boycotting the match which is being pushed on twitter.

WhatsApp. The message publicly is different for obvious reasons. Personally I hope it all goes off peacefully but I’ll be surprisedWhere did you hear that? Certainly the message publicly has been all about keeping things relatively civil.
Delays to kick off due to slowing down bus and fans getting in etc, is actually not the worst middle ground disruption. I hope whatever happens, no children are hurt or upset, there are people bringing kids the the game.
The idea they have 'allowed us' to spend the money' is hilarious. MUFC is after all a football club, and also a cash machine. What exactly would they do with all the money, there are limits to how much they can extract via dividends etc without provoking riots. They also allowed Woodward to waste most of that money as they get a nice healthy income, sit on a huge capital gain, and dont really care what else happens. The fact that they have allowed such profligacy without so little to show for all the money spent is actually one of the best examples of how awful their ownership has beenThat is true for anyone to see. We have spent truck loads but the Glazers have neglected the club's ambitions to be in and amongst the elite in Europe. They own the club. It's up to them to ensure its run efficiently and to the highest standards expected of an elite football club.
Carrington is below par, the stadium is falling apart and the team has regressed so far back it will take years to get anywhere near the top teams. They don't give a shred of a shite how the club performs on the pitch. Just as long as its generating enough $$$ that they're all too happy to collect.
This is 100% on the owners.
Well said, fully agreeGood luck everyone tonight. I was sceptical (not critical) of the protests last season, because I didn't think that they had a real purpose or an end goal to them. The end goal now needs to be a loud and clear one. Sell the club and sell it now.
This will be widely reported as just being done because of the bad results though, it's incredibly important that this carries on until they go, regardless of results
Hope you're right and that they do manage to get it postponed. That being said, even though a postponement is the optimal outcome IMO, more importantly is it that no one gets injured and there's no fights/riots or threatening behaviour towards kids or families. From what I’ve been told, they’re going all out to get it postponed. Trying to stop the team buses getting there, blocking the away turnstiles and, if the match actually starts, attempts at pitch invasions
