The cut part is up on their website. Apparently it wasnt censorship, ESPN have a history of simply fecking up.Blimey, that’s something I’d expect MUTV to do

Getting the game postponed is a massive statement from the fans. I cannot imagine all of the sponsors will be happy that the biggest game in English football was cancelled. Money talks and sponsors will be seething at this and the bad publicity. This is the way to get the Glazers out. Hit them where it hurts. Keep going red army. Proud of you
It breathes!Which club has spent more than us, other than City? And that's also crazy, considering we should be coming from a position of strength. Weaker clubs must, obviously, spend more to catch-up.
That's just your assumption. How did he buy wingers, strikers and defenders? Did he pay out of his own pocket? Just didn't want to pay for midfielders?
That's just not true. We bought starters every summer almost without exception (Mourinho's last summer probably being the one). You may not like or approve of the players but that's an entirely different point.
This is not a video game. Manchester United are not entitled to get whoever and whatever they want. Players, their agents and other clubs are part of the European football ecosystem and ignoring them is childish. It's not like the club didn't spend a small fortune on players during LvG's reign. If he didn't want them, he could've said "no, thanks, I'd use what I got". He didn't. He sold what he got.
With Pogba, Shaw and Martial being completely destroyed as part of our squad, I don't hold any grudges against the club for not indulging his request for a defender, especially after making it public matter. That's not how you deal with your
employers. The writing was on the wall.
And spending less is a bad thing? First of all, we have not spent less. Just look at our spending and compare to others. You just don't like that we don't spend more and/or buy the players you want. Again, life is not a video game.
Well yeah, a UK social media blackout would be enough to not hear anything when there is a match due in Manchester. We would only really speak when we are scheduled too, otherwise it serves the managers and players to be quiet up until then. There is a UK social media blackout.
The newspaper, radio, TV and website coverage is all going on as normal.
Journalists have the players phone numbers and loads were even at the same hotel yet not a single quote.
Know he has said some stupid things in the past but clearly Stan can see there is a narrative much like Carragher too
Have others spent nothing during that time? They bought into success. Sir Alex went a number of years without buying a midfielder. We made statement signings too late. The club had lost the ambition to improve the first 11 and we were left with average squad players for long periods to make up the numbers. There was a lot wrong but look we never got the players LVG wanted. We never backed Jose when he wanted a defender. Ole was obvious as he was a fans fave but also would promote youth further which helps spend less so has appeal to greedy owners.
Anything you'd like to contribute to the conversation? It breathes!

Yeah, what he saidAre you an idiot? Is everyone in disguise you prick?
Well lots of Utd fans in here who live outside the UK care.do you think anyone would care in New York or China about some streets being blocked off miles from the ground if they still got to watch the Utd Liverpool game? Matchday at Old trafford is the golden goose, the product, what everyone tunes in for
Pure Tory brain.I’m fully supportive of the vast majority of protestors yesterday, but wasn’t exactly keen on watching a group of bellends walking around the pitch, Tesco bags & lager cans in hand, kicking footballs about and stealing corner flags. It looked opportunistic, disorganised and chavvy

I’d have preferred if those that got on to the pitch had a plan. Maybe a banner to be laid out across the centre circle as they all stood around the pitch in some kind of ‘formation’.
Anyway, I also find it odd that it wasn’t decided yesterday to reschedule the game for today. No reason whatsoever that they couldn’t put in place the required security for it to take place today.

There's a league wide social media blackout over the weekend. Will probably take a while before they all start posting their PR approved answers.Zero comments from any Liverpool or Man United players or managers about this is interesting.
I'm genuinely curious as to what they'll say.
It can't be mid week next week. We play Leceister city on the 12th May.Surely it can't be tomorrow nor Tuesday. Likely mid-week next week.
I'm sure Joel Glazer is sat in his NYC penthouse, on the blower to the board, blubbing about how they have to sell now because some lad holding a can of red stripe is sat on the crossbar at the Stretford End.
Why would ESPN be bothered?can you please give the link? i call bulls* if that is what ESPN told, glad it’s trending so people can see
Good on you. Let me help youI know it's likely to make very little difference but am going to either e-mail or leave a message on the Facebook of all our main sponsors asking them if they really want their brand to be associated with a club who doesn't care about it's fans
If the protests don't go away I think they'll reach a point where they question if it's still worth it. They could easily cash in for 4 billion or more. The worry is who they sell to...So the only way they would sell is if there wasn't any prestige to owning MUFC? That is soul destroying.
Exactly. If the protests don't go away I think they'll reach a point where they question if it's still worth it. They could easily cash in for 4 billion or more. The worry is who they sell to...
They are hoping for it to blow over. They probably think the protests will die down by the start of next season.
You’ve really nailed the sentiment and expectation of the protest in just one post and clearly have a brilliant understanding of everything, any fan base would be proud to have you, and so witty as well.

They're unlikely to sell because of the financial gains. Doesn't matter if it's Manchester United or Dildo United, the prestige is secondary at best, we're not a sportwashing project
You sum up all that is wrong with "fans". Using the support of an institution to excuse loutish and crap behaviour purely because you hate the owners (as we all do).
You'd rather see a visual spectacle you can tweet about rather than actual change. It's empty and it's a waste of time.

and cops beating supporters is totally fine?
Has anyone well sourced articles/blogs/statistics about how much money the Glazers paid themselves and how much money has been used to service the debt after the acquisition? How does it compare to other owners (e.g. FSG / Kroenke)?
