He might be expensive but he is not a world star like Messi or Neymar or Ronaldo or even Bale. Hopefully there are good signs with Paul, but at the moment it is still all hype and the price tag.

I'd say he is a world star. He's just different to those mentioned as he's not a heavy goalscorer and has other responsibilities on the pitch. That will always make it difficult for him with his pricetag as it's harder to put value on what he does.

No he doesn't, he looks like a semi decent player in a poor league.

You're entitled to your opinion. :)

I'd be careful with getting these "top" talents from weaker leagues especially after watching Depay and Jansen.

Of course but that's not a reason to stop trying as you never know when you pick up the next RvP or Suarez. I'd like to see us buy Dolberg and loan him to a club like Gladbach for a season.

I haven't had time to watch the Dutch league recently, is he that good or talented? Only noticed that Bazoer and Tete are out of favour currently.

In my opinion he is, obviously it's not a great league but his touch and movement has a real class to it and he is very calm, I will eat my keyboard if he doesn't become a top striker at one of the big clubs. Bazoer seems to have been frozen out entirely, I think Tete got some minutes in the EL game last week.

Waste of money IMO. Let them prove their worth in some lesser club in stronger leagues and than snatch them. We already have Martial and Rashford to build around in the future.

Can't remember us buying a player just to send him on loan immediately after. We ain't Chelsea or Juve.

I don't think it's a waste of money to buy him for €25M now and loan him out to develop at a middling German side, as opposed to them buying him themselves and when he develops charging us 3 times that much for him.
