Then again, SAF has said pretty much the same about many players just before they left!
That's true,Veron for one. But i don't see it this time.

"I've banned two papers from the press conference and they won't get back in here until they apologise."

veron just didn't fit our style of play or our system. Rooney can play fuking anywhere would be mental to sell him
That man Sir Alex Ferguson eh? Which papers has he banned?
In a week when our papers should have been helping us point out UEFA's flaws as Marca would have done had the decision been made against Real - they tried to unsettle Rooney and create issues in the camp.
feck them.

What's wrong with him?

Seems to be breathing quite heavily, really down too. I worry about the stress he gets put through on nights like Tuesday, cant be good for a man of his age to get so fired up.

Course he is down and pissed off. Most United fans are still fuming from the other night and the bollocks created from his decision to not play Rooney hasn't helped.
I wonder if any journalist had the balls to ask about Keane's comments.
Two papers involved are the Daily fail and The Independent
Are any newspapers left in his press conference? He's surely banned everyone by now.

That's the first time I've ever watched Ferguson and thought seriously that he might be calling it a day at the end of the season.
I've never seen him so upset about a loss and take something so personally. It's just a gut feeling and I might (hopefully) be completely off the mark but I do wonder if it's because he knows full well that the ref cost him his last chance.
It'd explain why Mourinho was so subdued too as being great mates he may have an idea.
Anyway, I'm just speculating like everyone else and I'm hopefully totally wrong.
Interestingly, I do believe that when he does call it a day, it will be announced at the end of the season, not during the season. We all know what happened last time he announced his retirement during the season. He won't want that to happen again. So, it is entirely plausible that he could retire this summer, or more likely, the summer after.
Also, it is strange how much good PR Mourinho seems to be dong related to United. Most likely, there is a verbal agreement for him to join within the next 2 seasons. Even SAF has been speaking very fondly of him. To be honest, whatever anyone says, the next manager has to have a big enough ego to take over from SAF, and Mourinho is probably one of very few managers who could handle the pressure and expectation.
Didn't he ban Daniel Taylor as well?
Before the last week, I'd be writing both of these comments off. But I do get what you both mean. Wouldn't surprise me one bit.
Oh me too mate, I've been certain that he's got 2 or 3 seasons left at least up until this week but I just have a feeling something isn't quite right and can't put my finger on it.
The thing is you can be certain that he's not going to give any sort of warning, it's going to come a few days after we finish the season, whatever season that is and we'll unveil the new manager the following week.
“I don't think there are any injuries from the internationals which is really good news,” the boss told reporters on Friday. “There's a fair bit of tiredness and the answer to that is to make sure we get the energies back in their bodies. So there's the recovery side to it with not much training.
“There was a fair bit of travel - Chicharito and Valencia only got in yesterday [Thursday] afternoon and the English players got back at 5am. Other than that, we're very satisfied.”
“Nani, Jones and Scholes are all doing a little bit of training,” he added. “Hopefully it will give us a good strong squad to approach the two games on Saturday and Monday. We'll try and keep the momentum going with he run we're in at the moment. If we do that, Monday will take care of itself.”
"I think that's modern society," he stated in Friday's press conference. "You see a lot of that with supporters' reaction to many things. I don't think we can change that. It was disappointing and it's hard to take these things with the way it all panned out. I thought we'd won it for 20 seconds and it was snatched away from us.
"There's not any bitterness from my point of view. It happens and we move on. We've dusted ourselves down and made a really good challenge in the league this year. The concentration has been fantastic and the team spirit is really good. So, in that respect, we've answered it as best we can.
"So I don't have any issues with the Sunderland fans. I don't think the Sunderland fans wanted City to win it any more than we did. It was just a fact that they were our opponents that day and it goes back to what I was saying about present society. You see it with supporters every week. Wherever the fans are in opposite corners, they are venting their spleens at each other. It's what happens in modern-day football."
"[Van Persie scoring] was the most pleasing thing about the break for me actually," declared Sir Alex at his press conference. "He got the three goals for Holland.
"It's the same with all strikers. When they hit that little dry spell, they're hoping to get out of it as quickly as they can.
"Hopefully, those goals for Holland will help him to do that. His form has not changed, that's the most important thing, but the goals will certainly help and there's no question about that."
