Yep. He's not impressed.David May talking sense.

Well teams usually play 5 or 6 pre-season games so I'd say about that many.We just had 3-4 games in US tour. How many more games you need to get this "match fit" before you can go into a game showing your actual worth?
...yeah?Yeah?
Perfect storm.
Jose fighting the board, the players.
Supporters already fed up.
Injuries, key players without a pre season.
Can only hope we grind out results in the first 4 matches.
Otherwise we will be off the pace immediately.
Well my post was in reference to the last 3 years. I do expect us to have a go. This was also Bayerns first game back for some of the players. Apart from lukaku pogba Valencia young and to some extent, martial, who are we missing who could change the game? This is 60/70% of our team. We're playing Bayern with a lot of our players unfit/missing. What kind of wild attacking were you expecting tonight?
Mourinho doesn't play a high press. Counter attacking is a valid tactic, unfortunately we just didn't do it well at all tonight. We were under the cosh because we didn't press them enough when they had the ball, when we did the player was too far away and then they could pass between the lines. When they pressed us we surrendered the ball way too easily also.
You're addressing Geoffrey Chaucer, some some respect.Amazing that? Finished 2nd playing wrongly spelled shite football.
I think the players are the problem, so we obviously won't agree. If I didn't know what Mourinho had achieved and how his teams have played, I would probably think like you. Some of our players simply don't have what it takes, and we have a long way to go in the transfer market to catch City. With this current set of players a manager who can galvanise a team to play in a particular style with an intent to score goals could potentially challenge. The players need encouraging and support, Mourinho and his excuses does nothing for these players and you can see this in the way they perform for him.
Yeah but it's a shame his priority on the list is actually a centre back.I hope he will get the full backs and right winger he wants in time.

They played better than we did. It happens. Whisper it: they are a better team than we are. What was we practicing exactly? Was it meaningful for Bayern because they actually decided to play football.

Very credible source.
Don’t think even one poster on here has seriously said we’d finish mid table tbh mate
I don't care about free flowing exciting football, only about winning.True. We will be playing free flowing and exciting attacking football the moment the season starts. We are just bluffing right now.
David May talking sense.
I'd rather have both.I don't care about free flowing exciting football, only about winning.
We didn't counter at all tonight, we couldn't keep the ball long enough. The line up we started with wouldn't really suggest we were going to counter neither.Mourinho doesn't play a high press. Counter attacking is a valid tactic, unfortunately we just didn't do it well at all tonight.
Hopefully Leciester is far better with a more recognisable lineup. Pogba and Lukaku are absolutely vital for us.
Maybe they are showing their actual worth, I don't know. Pre-season games are never a great indicator of how a team will do, especially this pre-season (so soon after a world cup with players still missing).
Playing games to get "match fit" is something every team in professional football does and has done forever.
Hey buddy! Are you watching the same game as me in which DDG, Darmian, Shaw, Bailly, Lindelof, Pereira, Fred, Herrera, Mata, Rashford and Sanchez started for us?You came to this conclusion in preseason in a match with almost no first team players? Ok.
Couldn't have said it better myself. Some sanity at last. They played better than we did. It happens. Whisper it: they are a better team than we are.
We had one striker on his first game back getting no service and no options on the bench. Thus we didn't play well. We both know you're going to turn this into some sort of anti-Mourinho diatribe because you won't be happy until he's sacked, but it's pre-season and it's not the end of the world.

That's true. But this style isn't just based on this pre-season.

Nothing is ever good with us.You'll beat Leicester 2-0 next week and all will be good!
I know, but in the context of this game we aren't in great shape at the moment and we are playing one of the best teams in Europe. We would probably still be pinned back with our first team nevermind most of them missing. Bayern are a very good team, probably better than we are and we didn't play well. It's only pre-season though and I'd rather wait until the window closes and we get everyone back before panicking.Well my post was in reference to the last 3 years. I do expect us to have a go. What about the lineup didn't suggest we were looking to counter? Do you think the plan was to boss possession or just to defend for 90 minutes, because I very much doubt it was either of those. We didn't counter at all tonight, we couldn't keep the ball long enough. The line up we started with wouldn't really suggest we were going to counter neither.
Pogba won't play, he'll still be on holiday more than likely, wont be fit neither. Lukaku will have an outside chance, but then he's only done one day training.
I don't care about free flowing exciting football, only about winning.

Well, anyone would but you can't always have what you want.I'd rather have both.
Are we going to have a sweepstake for when he picks up his first injury?Yeah i think this could happen. Jose looked very coy when asked by the German reporter.
I think we created plenty of chances last season, and now we should be stronger. How can you win when you cant create a chance or even win a corner?
We are a bunch of individuals who haven't played together. Bayern are a fully formed team, with just one or two missing.Bayern look a team we are a bunch of individuals without a plan its just with 10 player s behind the ball, anyone suffering depression should not watch.
