True. We've been playing a lot of kids/no hopers like Markovic as well. Salah and Mane only recently got back.

To be fair he was never hyped up to be much. Surprised to even get so much first team action.
 
Darmian is brilliant as always.
Whole team pressing like headless chickens.
Tuanzebe has put on too much muscle. Seems slow.
We are parking the bus and when we get the ball, play behind the Liverpool defence to the fastest man on the pitch: Mata. Ingenious.

Only positives:
Sanchez seems to be closer to his former selv.
Pereira can still play ball, as he did in his preseason last year.
 
There's never been a player that has made me doubt my ability to judge a footballer more than Darmian.

Somewhere, people rate him. Juventus?!

Nice of Salah to dive in a preseason friendly!

I think he'll establish himself above them both in the pecking order this season. Fellaini too. Pogba, Fred and Matic will be above him. You never know with Mourinho though.

Herrera’s first instinct is to go sideways, he didn’t even raise his head in the last episode to look up for people up front - I don’t know how are we expected to create anything.

Mitchell has been contstantly out of position and looks lost and now has given away a penalty.
 
Bit of a training match this.

Have to say I'm not all that impressed with our youngsters (bar Andreas) like I've been in previous pre-seasons.
 
Can we pay off the commentators to maybe say 1 positive thing about us?

There's contact on Salah's foot, but absolutely none with his back leg, or upper body which both collapse. Good dive imo.

Terrible defending mind, saw that coming a mile away.

Weird to say this but every time I've watched him play pre-United, he always looked solid. Similar to Romero in that sense. Romero probably is better.

Mitchell has been a disaster this half though.

Has there ever been a more disappointing signing than Darmian? Probably a good few but Jesus, he’s so bad.
