Preseason Tour Game 4: Man Utd v Liverpool (ICC, Saturday 28th July 22:05 BST)

Offside again, but great finish from Mata. Sanchez and McTominay doing well in that play too.

The commentator just said something about Darmian kicking a bird in one of your previous games:lol:

Sanchez is ridiculously talented, that pass...awesome.

Seriously missing talent up front, love Mata technically, but never going to threaten as a centre forward or whatever he's doing tonight.

Pereira is quite an exciting player. I hope we see a lot of him this season. As for McTominay....not so much

Good chance of being 4th choice based on these performances and if we play 3 regularly then we’ll hopefully see a lot of him.

Sanchez has been amazing this pre season. Good signs for the upcoming season.

The camera angle makes me nauseous, Inception-esque stuff, looks like the players are about to fall off the field.

Also pool has the ugliest pajamas.

Mata Mctominay darmian- although its early in the game you.can just see how anonymous and ineffective they are. Why is darmian playing? He wants to leave
I worry we’re showing too much of him. Clubs may have second thoughts after watching this.

McTominay is average I’m sorry not even good enough to be a bench option
I am all for kids get a chance but this is pathetic, we should invest his minutes into someone much better. How can he be even considered midfielder when he can't pass the ball to save his life

For me some encouraging signs of the new coaching input. Clearly Utd are going to play a lot of counter attacking football next season. Some good play from us on the break

I doubt he will play much in the coming season, least if pre-season is anything to go by!

They have all the possession and all the chances but the pitch is small which suits our defending. Will take something special/stupid mistake for them to score.

Surprised by that. How come? Don't all teams start around the same time?
We were playing a load of league 1/league 2 sides and some local games like Tranmere/Chester. I don't really know if there are rules for when you can start pre-season but ours started pretty soon after the World Cup ended.

All their attacks are coming from Mitchell side. He's clearly not suited for this wing back stuff.

No rules whatsoever, Liverpool just chose to start earlier. In the grand scheme of things, sure there's pros and cons to either argument.

McTominay is just another in a long, long line of youth midfielders who are overhyped and clearly not even going to cut it here.

To be fair he wasn’t even hyped, Mourinho just picked him out of nowhere and it became a thing.
