Premier League Not So Festive Season

Id Id swear reading this thread that Pool are showing psg levels of domestic dominance. They're 1 point in front of city for fecks sake:lol:

Don’t know why you’re all worrying but you all making sound like it’s a given. Back to one point if city win tomorrow, and to me they are still marginally better than us.

Gary asking how they train to pass on the info to Ole Gunnar

Citeh must be looking at Liverpool like that annoying cough that just won't go away.:smirk:

Thing is they're consistent this season and they've learned how to grind results, which is worrying .

Interesting but if Liverpool win their next game they are on course to get 102 points this season.

I highly doubt they will though. A loss and I bet they struggle for a few again.

Good win.

Shame the points will be deducted because Lovren did that interview the other day.

Feyenoord were winterchampions a few years ago and went on to lose 9 in a row. Things change :)

I can see that happening, especially if an alien abduction of VVD, Allisson, Robertson occurs and Moreno has to play.

Any injuries to one or two of VVD/Robertson/Salah like you guys have had with Mendy/KDB/Silva/Kun and they'll get blown away. Also they've fluked their way to points on several occasions (Mahrez/Pickford brainfarts, Huddersfield, Chelsea), they won't be that lucky every game. At best they'll end on 95 points imo.

True. Second half will be interesting . City hasn't been amazing yet liverpool are only 4 points ahead ( not considering tomorrows match)

Once KDB is back, City will switch the Gear.

Things can go very wrong quickly in title races even when it seems like it’ll be a special season for a club. Arsenal 02/03 + 07/08 , United 11/12, Liverpool 13/14 spring to mind.

How the heck are Liverpool winning? Wolves totally outplayed them but I guess they have the champions luck.
Totally outplayed...right. Liverpool never really looked like conceding once they went up

Lpool were a side that pressed for 70 minutes and if they didn’t go 2-0 up you’d know they’d lose points in the last minutes due to fatigue.

This side is much more suited to the low block. It can play a high, middle and low block and they now have great 1 on 1 defenders. Fairplay to Klopp for evolving the side.

People have said this is a weird time of the change of manager but I think it's perfect. If we kept Jose and fecked up these games in quick succession there would be nothing to salvage.

Perfect time for s boost of energy to the sauad.

Lush pass by ozil but wtf was that player who was marking aubameyang doing, just jumping about doing starfish thrusts or some shit.

Feels like Arsenal haven’t not won a home game against any team outside the top 6 for donkeys years.

I know we are pretty boring to watch but arsenal don't really entertain me either for some reason, suppose the mass possession and doing feck all with it isn't my thing.

Actually refreshing to see a bust-up where only the aggressor gets booked by the ref. That being said, the elbow was dirty and I'll forgive the ref for missing that since he did it while rolling around, but everything else was all Barnes.

Too many times you see someone being pushed around be booked for involvement.
