Premier League Not So Festive Season

 Pep and Mourinho are 2 frauds who needs to have bigger badget than the others to deliver.

Palace showing the rest of the league how to play a Pep team. If SAF was still around, I bet he'd be having the better of these 2 frauds, he liked to play against those toothless teams.

Except he literally did not like to play against their teams because he had a horrendous record against both of them (losing 7 games against Mourinho and winning only 3 and losing all games against Guardiola.)

Jose Mourinho and Pep Guardiola imploding in the same season would be quite interesting.

Having just said that Liverpool are unlikely to hold off City for the rest of the season (which I maintain), the fact that we are miles off being competitive with City at the moment had kind of made me forget the possibility of a Guardiola meltdown - and a premature end to the Guardiola era - if things get really competitive. Sometimes it's hard not to buy into some of this media elevation of City to invincibility for the foreseeable future.

Just got home and saw the City scoreline.

It really is now or never for Liverpool. I hope they crash and burn.

Very unexpected but you could see City looked tired in that 2nd half at Leicester though. Sure they'll turn the corner after a dose of Pep's magical juice.

It's Liverpool's league this year. I suppose it had to happen at some point. Just going to start accepting it. Liverpool had plenty of luck into the first 15 games and now they're on a roll and 4 points clear.

Big difference is that Liverpool were pretty uninspiring for the first couple of months but were lucky enough to not drop points when they should have. Now City are underwhelming but losing points too. Big question is if Liverpool will have to go without Salah or VVD like City have with De Brunye and Silva at times.

Pressure. Something that City haven’t felt from opponents on or off the pitch since 2017. It’s why they shat the bed in the Champions League last year when they came up against the first team that didn’t bend over for them.

As much as I hate the idea of Liverpool winning the league, I love the idea of City being thrashed at the Eithad by Palace.

Watching Newcastle - Fulham. Not really sure how is this sport they're playing called, but it certainly ain't football.

Christmas time
Redcafe and whine
Scousers singing league is all mine
With logs on the fire and gifts on the tree
A time to rejoice in the Fraud that we see

We sold our soul when we got Mourinho. This powered up City and Liverpool.

Today is the first proper day of Ole’s reign. As a result they will no longer have divine intervention helping them.

They’re not going to haunt me even if they end up winning it.

Me enjoying watching City get turned over by Palace has no effect on any of it.

Obviously not, but surely a United fan can’t be happy about liverpool gaining an edge in the title race? That’s the direct consequence of City dropping points.
