Premier League May 3-5

Villa have absolutely parked the bus and Nasri is bloody awful. How do you miss that?! I can see City conceding on the counter today.

It must be much easier to have a home record like City when you don't have the added pressure of actually playing in front of your fans every week.

Villa have successfully parked the bus in the first half; could even nick a goal as well.

City needs to do better in the second half.

Typical City - they are trying to be like United and make their fans suffer. Bloody hell can't believe I am sitting here getting annoyed at them.

making serious hard work of it so far.

Thank goodness Pool bungled up against Palace, otherwise the pressure could reach epic levels.

Nasri is really going to cost City this title. Awful miss late on vs Sunderland and now this today.

City have signed that shrieking bint Highbury used to have.
Maria is still around, she was down in Marseilles and spotted one of the cool away crew: 'Fred Bloggs, 'ow are you ow's yer mum', booms out across the Mediterranean night at 120 decibels.

It's weird wanting City to win. I find myself struggling to do it. As much as I know a loss would give Liverpool the title, I still keep wanting Villa to score when they break. It's just instinct.

Football is stupid.

City have been far too one dimensional so far. Villa are set up well but the likes of Clark have mistakes in them. City just need to try and be far more inventive in the second half.

Feck off Villa you bunch of wankers. Nothing to play for and eleven behind the ball... and City are incapable of breaking them down. Useless Nasri.
They can still move up two places

The amount of cash on offer is ridiculous this season

feck if City don't win today Big Sam is going to crown Liverpool champions. Good thing I've been holding back from mocking Liverpool fans on Facebook and Twitter.

45 mins left, calm down folks.
Villa will tire ball chasing and City will probe.

I figued the Palace result didn`t matter and people were wrong to say Liverpool lost the title against Palace, when I thought it was the Chelsea result.

I thought City would just smash both Villa and West Ham at home since neither are playing for anything, but obviously that doesn`t look like brilliant logic right now.

When they expand their stadium, it'll be even more embarrassing for them if that's even possible.

That first half gave me cancer by the way.

Carra is right. A draw isn't the end of the world. City need four points. If you can't win this one, don't lose it.

THis next 45 will really show what Pellegrini is made of (and City I suppose). They will want to push forward very hard but at the same time that makes them vulnerable to a counter attack which could put the title in Liverpool hands.. Right now this result still wins them the league if they win this weekend. They need to play this very carefully.

This is fine, City fans are wetting it already, you shouldn't get tense until 70 minutes.

City just made sure they didn't get hit with a suckerpunch in the first half.

A draw is still good enough. I expect them to turn it up a notch in the 2nd.

5.6 million pounds difference between finishing 12th and 17th, which is Villa`s realistic range right now.
