Gary Neville saying that he thought Liverpool and Everton got along. Eh?
He has this idealistic view on the game which he is too stubborn to change.

Can't believe how shocked the pundits have been all week when finding out Everton want City to win. I mean come on ffs, why the hell would Everton want their bitter rivals to win the premier league? They celebrated for us when we knocked Liverpool off their perch.
Barkley is the only one who is trying. Martinez needs to address that at HT and sub the cnut off.
League position is decided by GD after points right? So we are guaranteed 5th anyway?
Exactly. One loss means feck all when the payoff is so big.

In recent months I've now seen why opposition fans hated him so much. He's unbelievably annoying.

He's been shocking this season, particularly after Christmas.
He'd think it ludicrous if a scouser though United and City were just a 'big family'. Why on earth would he think Everton would have anything other than complete hatred for Liverpool?

Why?!
Your goal difference is miles better than Spurs.League position is decided by GD after points right? So we are guaranteed 5th anyway?
Tim Howard was really slow reacting at both those goals. Especially the Dzeko header.
Don't Sky want a final day with City and Liverpool all square? Surely that's the most dramatic scenario that will bring the most viewers.
If Liverpool have it won by the last day it'll be a flat finish to the season. I don't get their obvious anti-City agenda here

RAWK's gone ubernuts now:
I suppose it's a lot better for them and the PL if Liverpool win it ahead of a club like City or Chelsea. Makes it all far more marketable for them, the underdogs, Suarez, Rodgers etc. if they falter and finish second they pretty much lose all of that.Don't Sky want a final day with City and Liverpool all square? I still think it's weird when people want their team to lose, whatever the circumstances.
From the BBC:
Tom, Manchester: Aguero, Kompany, Yaya and Silva have only played 216 minutes together in the league.
Oasis playing at Goodison along with 'Masterplan.'
Hmmm.
Because I kind of assumed we are out of the league now I want City to win it over Liverpool because of Gerrard and all those crowing Scousers. Wouldnt it just be so Karmalicious if Gerrards 'slip' was the thing that lost them their leagie title and he never wins one in his rather bleak Liverpool career!
Watching City tonight it begs the question of apart from DDG and either one of Rooney or RVP to partner Augero would any of our players get in their 11?

A different world up there obviously, our players would get excoriated if they gifted Spurs the league.Gary and Tyler are so out of touch.
Did they really think Everton fans would be 'happy' with Everton winning today. Especially now that 4th place is all but done.

Yeah, not being bothered about a loss is one thing but actually wanting to lose is a bit much.I still think it's weird when people want their team to lose, whatever the circumstances.
