The averageness of the likes of Cahill and David Luiz is baffling.
Kante is a good player but just like many other player playing for a different club, he gets overrated on here until they get signed by us when they become shite!
How many goals have Chelsea conceded this season? Has Kante stopped Chelsea from conceding those goals despite him having Matic alongside him and Chelsea not playing some all out attack football?

I predicted Chelski would finish outside the top 4 again this season ... and I've seen little from them so far this season to make me think about changing my mind. As per last season, it's their defence that's the weakest link.
Kante is doing fine in his own duels, he can't prevent the likes of Cahill/Luiz making costly mistakes.

What has Conte seen in David Luiz? The guy is good on the ball but naive as a defender. I think Kurt Zouma deserves more game time and looks a promising tough defender.

I just don't see the point of Matic in this setup. Kante is playing as the deepest lying midfielder and the one picking up the ball in possession. Matic is like this big lumbering oaf just running around in the middle of the pitch that offers nothing in possession in terms of linking Kante to the attackers. He is OK at pressing the ball when out of possession but not quick enough to keep up with really rapid midfield opponents.

For some reason I still got a niggly feeling that Chelsea can come back to draw/win this game. They are just that jammy. But they will most likely score 1 and the game will pan out like our game against City. Liverpool will win this 2-1, 3-1.

Read somewhere that Liverpool covered most distance and had most sprints from all teams in the EPL in the first 4 games. No Europe is a big plus for them. They'll be a factor this season. We better hit good form before going to their ground.

Agreed for this season, though Courtois have been well below his level for last season, and the season before(though to a lesser extent). Hence i'd say De Gea is showing poor form this season, harder to blame form when it lasts for several seasons.
